those look like screens from the cgi ingame sequences the live screens in that link dont look as good
fileplanet has a beta version of this game available though ididnt dl it
hl2 has the bar set high much better than doom3
the last 5 mins of hl2 was a major dissapointment but i dont want to spoil it(new ending soon to be released so they say)

the 'new ending' is going to be the expansion pack they are comming out with this fall. it supposed to have updated HDR lighting, and you most likely can only get it through steam. But, hell, if it gives the game more solid closure, why not.
