Hammerfall

I was wondering if anyone else is a Hammerfall fan. I haven’t meet a lot of people who even know who they are let alone like there music.

hammerfall is awesome. if you like them, you should check out two bands (if you already don't know who they are)
1. Messhugh (sp?)
2. In Flames (on the Ozzfest tour this year, and were fucking awesome) :icon_evil

Saw In Flames open for Iced Earth a couple of years ago, they put on a fucking awesome show. Never got into Messhuh do. But if you like Hammerfal, have you ever checked out Pegasuz?

Pegasuz is cool too. Messuguh is cool, but they have a weird time signature to all of their music. they work where the rhythm section is working on one time schedule, and the leads work on the off beat from the rhythm. it sounds weird at first, but they have some really cool songs.
there was a band on the Ozzfest tour two years ago called Motograter. they use a specifically designed guitar for a real heavy, often muddy kind of sound. also, i'm not too sure but i think they are from around here (Buffalo) but there is an awesome metal band called Chimera. they fucking rock too! :icon_evil

hammerfall is a love or hate band. I'm a fan and i think they rock but i totally understand why people don't like em. They killed opening for dio a few years back. They're most recent album is kind of so-so

Total agreement sir. Seen them live a couple of times. Harry Conklin has a great fucking voice and Mark Briody is hell of guitar player. One of favorite albums of all time is their concept album based on McBeth, "Thane to the Throne".

yea, i saw em with iced earth a few years ago and with helloween too. They kill live and get no respect. I don't think they're big enough to headline, which sucks. They're newest album Casting the Stones really kills, pick it up if you dont have it.

I haven't listened to Hammerfall in quite awhile. I liked the first 2 cds pretty well. I saw them open for Death up in Cleveland. They put on a pretty good live show, but I was there to see Death, and no other band mattered to me at that time.
