But I have started burning LoveLines to CD and listening to it at work alot for when the show isn't worth listening too. So Im still half a fan, but a fan nonetheless.

my belief on the show is simple. Good, bad, in the middle of the road, wherever the show falls from day to day, it's honest. They don't play stupid shit games, and for that, I'll loyally listen to even their so-so shows. It's not always gonna be radio gold, and that's the thing you've forgotten.

Personally I really don't find them funny because it's very old news to me. I learned about fear mongering media in middle school. The same time I learned that beer commericals are going to have hot chicks in it. It's just marketing, every business is going to market their product using the best means possible. So that is why I don't find it funny, it's not new to me and I hate hearing news teasers in the morning, and then hearing them all through the day when I listen to other radio or watch TV. But that is my opinion, I don't expect everyone to have the same views on it as I do, but we are going on more than a month of news teasers.... O&A do like to run bits into the ground, but a month is a long time to me.

I do agree with the high falutin morality arguement, the news is a business like everyone else and they need to make money, so the garbage they report on now days is 100% editorial and sensationalistic, which is crap. And being that its crap, I dont want to hear it every day on the show I want to make me laugh.

AOTM's are a different topic and cannot be compared to the news teasers. I love pests getting their shiny faces on TV with an ONA sign, that is funny.
