It will be interesting to hear how they handle the replays starting tomorrow. I think they played that first clip about Phelps' plans for an attack on the media on Tuesday. That segment would come up Saturday between 11 am and 3 pm. We'll see if they edit anything.

It's very possible they won't. The cease and desist garbage came down AFTER the clips were played on shows Tuesday through Thursday. Those clips were played in good faith like any of the hundreds of clips this show (and others) play every week. If a legal order after the fact could force editing of old shows, couldn't a cease and desist from someone like Pat O'Brien basically shred dozens of previous shows? I suspect the only shows affected will be future shows, not "worst of" material. Perhaps some of the great legal minds around here (e.g. Belt o' Scotch) can chime in on this.

I haven't much experience with federal practice) is file an Order to Show Cause saying they've been unfairly enjoined and that their use of Jim's voice is protected by the Fair Use doctrine, because it certainly is.

Wednesday's show (which should begin replay in a few minutes at 3 pm) was the one where Carlos shows up in the studio and Opie plays the first Philips tape. I guess we'll find out momentarily if they are going to play it again or go to a Tommy Chong interview.

I was willing to cut him slack that he wouldn't be at his best (given, you know, pests and all). But wow, talk about a guy who has nothing. Dumb enough to spew easily demonstrable lies.
