So why the first strike attack?

I'd like to hear the Wackbagger's opinion on why The O&A Show decided to launch a premptive strike against another radio show? All the other attacks in the past, the other radio show has made the first move (usually shit talking O&A), but this time The Philips Phile only mentioned the idea of doing a bit read about in the New York Times (I think the article was on the news breakers, O&A and Arthur Chien).

What do you think? Why the first strike tactic this time?

Philips Phile attacked first by stealing their bits and then saying that they didn't want anyone to rip them off even though the next day he did brag about stealing this bit and others. This launched O&A to originally attack him, then the guy kept getting deeper by saying stuff

Exactly. It was more about how ole Philips handled the initial attack that spurred it on to the current level. The more he talks bullshit and complete lies, the more determined the pests get.
