They are always giving things away which makes it seems like its a shity company. But i have never had any issues with it

Without plugging my own company, the best place to do some research is:

http://www.webhostingtalk.com

There's alot of smaller companies there, which you want to avoid. A quick search will get you far though on that board (to see complaints, praises, etc).
