fuck them for bowing to the conservative bullshit.
but im glad this has happened. it will only make companies like amazon.com or gamefly.com stronger. people will start to flock to sites like these when they cant get their games from fag-mart. good! let the flocking begin.
also, you cant order it off amazon unless you have a credit card, so you basically are 18 and up, no kids can get it unless their dumbass parents buy it for them.

My brother works in a Wal-Mart and he says the only reason he shops there is because he gets a discount. He and I both agree that this has gotten out of hand. No big deal to me as I never shopped there for games anyway.
You can't buy "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" at Wal-Mart but you can still buy a rifle. Interesting, eh?

Ahh, stop whining, faghets. There are some things you buy at Walmart and some things you don't. It isn't evil, it isn't taking over the world, it isn't destroying the video game industry - it's just a big store that sells a little bit of everything at low prices.

Maybe you real anger should be at the C-WORD's UPSMUCKY CHUCKY SCHUMER and HILLARY CLINTON, who care more about using their time to be everyone mommy and daddy, by threating to use the TAXpayer funded gov't agencies to go up a COMPANIES ASSHOLE unless they comply to bullshit, over other company's fearing the same bullshit from the SAID SENATORS and pulling the game because of the upped rating.
Also your anger should be at the scumbag, bottom-feeding, SHIT-DICK lawyer, who brought up a CLASS-ACTION lawsuit against ROCKSTAR, in the name of a fucking old bag, who bought the game for her 14 year old grandson.

Don't mean to revive a dead horse, but I just got back from Wal-Mart and they are still selling Steve-O's DVD, which probably shouldn't be on the shelves if Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and music with "Explicit Lyrics" can't be sold there.
Edit: Why the hell did I go to Wal-Mart when I could have just looked on their website? Want to buy Steve-O's "Don't Try This At Home" DVD? Here you go, kiddies.

Hilary Clinton is resposible for the rating on GTA-SA to be changed. I wouldn't exactly call her a consrvative.

Jesus, I don't understand all the anti-WalMart shit. Just get your "explicit" shit elsewhere... When I need undershirts or a cheap DVD I go to WalMart, and I don't give a rat's ass if they sell San Andreas or not.

You obviously don't get it. Walmart comes to town, pushes out all of the smaller businesses that can't compete with a store selling items at cost or lower and then restricts what they sell. There is no place else to buy this shit in alot of smaller towns.

Or unless you signed up for amazon with your debit/credit card from your bank account and are under 18, like me :action-sm :icon_mrgr
BTW Biv is completely right about Wally World musclin smaller places outta business, I live in a smaller community and there is a walmart on one side of town, and a wal-mart at the other, not much in between but we are blessed? enough to have a gamestop and a strawberries near me. If I want anything at a decent price I gotta drive 30-45 minutes to go to the mall. Getting a little OT Grocery Stores like Shaws are no better, there are 3 count em 1...2...3 within a ten mile radius of my house!

Wal Mart is taking over. I hate it. We have one in town with another proposed to open on the other side of town within 5 years. Since the old Wal Mart went into a Supercenter last year, 2 other large grocery stores have already gone under. Blah.
Anyway, I think it is hypocritical that a store that sells unedited movies and GUNS cannot sell A VIDEO GAME CLEARLY MARKED FOR 17+. Oh well.

Exactly. Walmart and the like basically serve to homogenize the country. You go into any walmart in any part of the country and you get 99.9% of the same goods sold. There is no possible way a mom&pop business would be able to compete with the prices, and hence their unique goods or service is lost to mass produced, mass distributed shit.
And if you really want a gague of walmart, find one in or near a city. Go into THAT walmart and see what type of people are shopping in walmart even though there are other choices. Answer: the dregs of society. People who are too dumb to realize that cheaper is most often NOT better, or too dumb to manage their finances so they NEED the cheap walmart prices.
And just remember, no matter what people say about how cheap walmart is and how they couldnt survive without it...they survived before walmart came rolling into town.

It's the fact that if you don't like wal-mart, when they come to town, you're pretty much fucked when it comes to any other store to go to

Actually, I DO get it. This tale of WalMart moving in and killing the mom and pop shop isn't exactly a new revelation... They've been doing investigative specials on this phenomenon for twenty years now, and I've seen towns where the WalMart is the only store around.
In any case, I fail to be moved by the "they can't buy GTA or certain movies, books and CD's because WalMart won't sell it". Get on Amazon and it'll be at your door in a couple of days. It's not like WalMart isn't selling VITAMINS here, you know.

You people truly crack me up. I know I'm the dregs of society already (I listen to O&A, after all), but you seriously need to chill out. The ONLY reason people shop at WalMart is because they can't manage their finances? Don't realize that cheaper isn't better?
So... If I want to buy a specific coffee maker, for instance, I would be smarter to skip the lower advertised price at the local WalMart and drive another five miles (giving more money to the evil oil companies :icon_mrgr ) further to spend more for it at another store? If I want a three-pack of Hanes undershirts and see from WalMart's site that they are selling them for $11, I should instead spend $14 at another store for the same item, just to poke a finger in WalMart's eye? I see that WalMart has a DVD I want... I've seen it around in other stores and passed on it because I didn't feel that the film in question was worth $15 to me, but now I see it on the shelf marked down to $7.50. Am I supposed to pass on it and go to a warm, fuzzy, family-owned shop and spend $15 on it instead? How is that smart? I don't shop at WalMart for furniture, shoes, most outer clothing (with the exception of a few Hanes T-shirts), and all kinds of stuff that needs to be higher quality... But for crying out loud, there are LOADS of things that you can buy at the store that are THE SAME as you will get anywhere else. Saying that everything they sell is cheap crap is just plain ludicrous. A popular misconception as everyone loves to poke fun at the plain-vanilla people and call everyone in WalMart country bumpkins... But really now, regular people shop there too.
But then again, all the above stories are from my own experience, which just proves what a dreg I am. I actually was in the WalMart the other day to get a tube of travel-size toothpaste and ended up with both toothpaste and a Honeywell desk fan, one of an identical design to one I already own... And had spent $13-14 on three years ago. I foolishly bought another one at WalMart for $7. If only I managed my finances better I could've simply skipped on that sale price and gone another ten minutes down the road to get that fan for twice the price. Then I wouldn't be so dumb!
If that is how YOU wish to manage your own finances, spending more for identical items, have at it. Blaming WalMart for the ills of the country is a recently popular phenomenon (everyone loves to hate big business), but I think people are just getting hysterical over nothing. Just so I know, am I allowed to enter a Target, a Sears, a Home Depot, a Kohl's, etc., or is it just WalMart that's the Great Satan?
