Just curious, anyone here a fan of Ben Folds? I am probably one of the biggest... not so much his new stuff, like what's recorded on Ben Folds Live, is great.

He's not a HUGE name, so I am wondering who might be into him...

I wanted to hear more from him than Brick, but commercial radio at the time shoved that down your throat,
I have Whatever & Ever Amen, and just got a copy of Rockin' The Suburbs.
I like the fact thats his music has an edge to it, I really should be more into what he's doing.

He worked on the record. Joe Jackson helped him with the song they played on O&A.

I'll try it, I would imagine he would be good live unlike a lot of so called musicians.

Yeah, definitely. It's called, simply, Ben Folds Live :) It's got some great ones on there.. Brick, Philosophy, Zak and Sara, Last Polka, Fred Jones Part 2... it's good for people who like ben folds five's music without the other people :)

rockin the suburbs is a fantastic album. not too big on the newset solo cd, but he is awesome to see live.

Ben Folds is awesome. "Naked Baby Photos" is a great album to pick up if your a fan. I celebrate their entire catalog.

I'm a big Ben Folds fan. The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner is my favorite album.

Brick was overplayed, but it's still haunting to listen to it if you know someone who's experienced the same.

His piano chops are phenominal!
