I sold a bunch of shit on ebay and craigslist...basically you go to garage sales and thrift shops and buy things that look like the might be worth something. Then if you get lucky you sell it for a huge profit. Considering you bought it for like $2 from some old lady

My PT gig is with a family run business. I don't have exact numbers, but it seems to be doing well. However, everyone involved has a FT gig, and this is supplementary income. One of the co-owners is an IT/computer wiz, which makes running the business/site much easier.
It started out as just a hobby, and the site was a cue sheet exchange for cyclists. The spin off site, which is a store front (lowest priced cycling gear on the web) is doing much better than the cue sheet exchange (that part is up for sale, I believe).

I didn't put it in my original post because I couldn't remember if it was allowed. But since you asked, it's bikemania.biz
Mods, sorry if I broke a rule. If I did, I'm sorry for being lazy and not PM'ing first. :icon_mrgr

i found some old russian spy camera for $5 that I sold for $150. Besides that, you can also look around your attic for old shit and see how much its going for on ebay w/ the advanced search option. A lot of gold there.
I only do it occasionaly because you find yourself getting a little too familiar with the post office rubes and packing stuff is a bitch.
It can give you some good cash though:action-smAlso, dont buy much at a yard/garage/thrift shop over like $5 or $6. You'll regret it and have a room full of junk
