Lancaster is a small town. I grew up there, small population. It is literally a "Cow-Town". That being said:

LANCASTER-- No one has been arrested yet in the alleged **** and home invasion Thursday morning of an Atlantic Union College student, Police Chief Kevin D. Lamb said Friday.
Chief Lamb said the investigation has been taken over by state police from District Attorney John J. Conte's office. Lancaster police, Chief Lamb said, searched with state police until 9 p.m. Thursday for a suspect said to be armed.
The alleged assault took place around 11 a.m. Thursday in an off-campus apartment building at 197 Main St. The property, a few blocks from the college, in South Lancaster, is owned by AUC.
Some neighbors in the area said the female victim said her attacker was wearing a mask, carrying a gun, and wearing combat-like boots and military fatigues.
The man allegedly fled, prompting a massive search with helicopters, and police vehicles from several agencies Thursday afternoon.
According to a prepared statement issued Thursday evening from the Seventh-day Adventist college, AUC officials have hired additional security staff.
