XM Satellite Radio will air live the 20th Anniversary Farm Aid Concert on Sunday, September 18th, beginning at Noon on X Country and XM Live, direct from the Tweeter Center in Tinley Park, Ill.
Coverage of the 20th Anniversary Farm Aid concert will feature artist interviews and complete live performances from the main Farm Aid 2005 stage with the line up including performances by Farm Aid directors Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews. Other celebrated musicians like Kenny Chesney, Arlo Guthrie, Buddy Guy, Emmylou Harris, Los Lonely Boys, John Mayer, Susan Tedeschi, Widespread Panic and Wilco will be performing as well.
Farm Aid has raised more than $27 million to promote a strong and resilient family farm system of agriculture. Through public education and direct grants, Farm Aid supports national, regional and local efforts to build and strengthen family farm food production.
