It is a great CD. Personally I prefer 40 oz. to it, but still, good stuff. Garden Grove and Same in the End are some fucking awesome songs.

This is probably my favorite album of all time. Even though I was like 10 when it came out, I remember the first time I heard it at a friends house, and I was instantly hooked. After starting to really get into them I soon discovered the band broke up months earlier after Bradleys death and was severely dissapointed.

That doesn't sound gay at all. I'm not arguing that it's the best Sublime album or the greatest album of all-time. I'm only curious, is there one person who doesn't like it? I don't think it's possible.

Does anyone hate ONE song on the album?

40 oz. is still an all around favorite. If any of you really like Sublime I have a ton of bootlegs and never released songs. A lot of isn't the best sound quality, but it's Sublime, so who cares?

Amazing, wonderful music, but not to be a bummer, but it's tough for me to reach for the [self-titled] CD and not feel a small tinge of either 'what a waste' or 'what the fuck were you thinking' if memory serves, he had a, what, 9 month old kid and had been married for a week?

No judgement, it is what it is, so yes, wonderful music, but a real bummer in terms of what mighta been...

I bought it about a month ago and love it. Still not the best (i'm more of a nirvana guy) but still great none the less. Its one of those CD's where the B-sides are just as good as Hits, if not better (Just like In Utero)...

I really like Robbin' the Hood too.

The self titled album is one of my few cds that has ever been warn out from playing it too much (lots of tiny scratches). That and AIC unplugged.

Sublime is one of my most favorite bands of all time. Self-Titled (sometimes called Detox because of the graphic on it) is a great CD

The only tracks on Robbin the Hood I like are the acoustic ones (mary, boss dj, pool shark). The rest of the shit is too punk for me. I definitely 40 Oz. is their best, one of my favorite albums, it's hard to find one bad song out of what, 23?

I definitley suggest you check out "Stories, Tales, Lies & Exaggerations" My friend Josh Fischel was the director for it, and it's amazing the whole way though. If you like Sublime checkout the band "Bargain Music". They have a myspace page.

Although I felt a few of the songs were overplayed on the radio, and got a bit tired, the album over all is a masterpiece. The sounds are really eclectic, and every song seems unique, there is no filler here.

Having said that, the only song that I don't really like is "Under My Voodoo". It is a little too "jam-band" for me. I like how his vocals match up with the lead guitar, but then it just gets a little too "out there". It isn't a terrible song by any means though.

My favorite song on the album is probably "Same In The End"
