A company called Taurus Entertaiment is putting out this, along with DAY OF THE DEAD 2: CONTAGIUM. Supposedly Anchor Bay is putting that out on DVD. They don't appear to have much in common with the Romero versions. You can see a teaser for DOTD2 at their website:

As far as I know, Stephen King and George Romero are not involved. Somebody told me KIng is currently writing a book about cell phones that turn people into zombies...yawn.
