October 11th Sevendust's new album "Next" comes out
Don't know if anyone cares. I'm a huge Sevendust fan though.
Aparently they dropped TVT records b/c they were trying to make them do softer stuff. The new album should be alot harder.

Awsome. I can't wait. Sevendust is a real good band. THey were getting a little soft but it was still good. You can't go wrong with the hard stuff though.

It was O&A who turned me on to Sevendust. Back at NEW they had them in and do a few songs accousticly. I like them so much I got the album.

I didn't know they were on the show. They do have an acoustic album out. Which I had to buy again yesterday b/c I lost it.

It was around March of 2002. I remember it so clearly because I had a really bad case of the flu that week.

I saw them once live a looooong time ago.
It was my first ever small venue concert in summer 1997 and they opened for Coal Chamber and Powerman 5000. awesome show.

I'm a real big Sevendust fan...I went and saw them at Hammerstein Ballroom in Jan of '04 with Ill Nino and some other guys. Great show, within 4 minutes of going into the place I saw some kid getting taken out on a backboard from the pit.
I myself wound up getting 4 stitches in my eyebrow...I was sitting on the stretcher when I heard them start doing a cover of Hurt, I just looked at the EMT and said "I'll be right back, I've gotta go see this song"

I got it today! The web site said it would be harder but it's not. The first track "Hero" is definetly the hardest song they have ever done and maybe the best, but the rest is about the same as the old albums, maybe even softer. Track 5 "This life" may be a bit too soft, a good song but the lyrics are kinda gay.
Overall this CD rocks. Even better than "Seasons". Sevendust continues to amaze me by consistantly puting out better albums.

I am also a huuuuuuuuge sevendust fan. i was really bummed out when clint left the band, but i got 2 AWESOME new cds out of it, so i guess its good. (if you guys havent gotten the Dark New Day cd, i highly recommend it). JD - shockingly, I was also at that show. I actually saw them twice that week, once at hammerstein, and later that week up in buffalo when i went back to school. they fuckin rock man, and this new cd is awesome. its just gets better with each listen.
