I made a movie trailer and my hotmail, gmail and aol e-mail addresses wount send the mp3. It transfers the whole thing and then times out. WTF? The address is steve<at>foundrymusic<dot>com, no?

Sounds more like a problem with your connection, or email provider.

I think it is a problem with g-mail. I was getting that a month or so ago when I was trying to send him an mP3.

It turns out that it did go through, just never showed up on my end like it did.

i dont know about all that, but when i emailed steve he got back to me within 24 hrs. hes a good egg.

How big is the file? How much will web email providers allow you to send through their servers? It could be too big to send through one of their services. A good rule of thumb is anything over 1MB, IMHO should be posted on a webserver, then linked to instead of attaching directly to the email.

The only problem I've had emailing steve is him not replying. I asked a serious question and I thought he replied to everything. Guess not.

Steve works 20+ hours a day, between the show, running Foundry and his personal life, maybe he missed it...
OR
Maybe he thought it was not seriouos and decided to just not respond or even better deleted it without a second thought.....

no one in his position can feasibly answer every email. i'm sure everyone who takes the time to write people on the show thinks they have a more important point than the hundreds of other people who wrote similar things.

I sent pictures of Disturbed from Philly the other night and he posted the pics almost immediately (I guess since they're topical?).. I also got a reply so no problems here.. It would be nice if Opie took a minute to reply ::eyeroll:: I don't even bother with Ant as his email is always full... Lil Jimmy also replies to everything... No complaints here...

Try fake.steve@xmradio.com and see if this works. Be sure to CC a copy of your message to ben.sparks@xmradio.com, so that he can make sure that Steve sees your message.
