I was trying to remember the moment that I became a true fan of the bbboys. You know became a full on loyal soldier and pest. It was the 2000 O&A Softball game. A group of my friends got together and went including my now ex-girlfriend and my current one. For those of you there, my ex was one of the 3 girls making out on the mezzanine. The whole day was one big party and it hooked me for life.

So when were you hooked?

Also if anyone has pictures from that day please PM me!!!! My girlfriend wants to see them again (and me too).

Took me a bit less than a half year before I liked them better than Stern. I think I realized it during one of the anti-baby rant shows (even though I'm not anti-infant).

I believe it was the second show ever on XM. Ant and Jimmy started making Shining references (something my friends and I have done for years) and I was hooked.

The first day I listened (about two weeks after they started in Cleveland) they did the "call in characters" bit and I fucking LOST it. I think the one that got me was the "listening-to-the-radio-while-on-the-phone" guy. At the time, I thought that was hilarious.

Actually, I still think it's hilarious. I'm a nudge.

The day they played Mike Tyson's rant at the Lennox Lewis press conference ("I'll F you til you love me!") was the first time that I can remember almost getting into an accident from laughing so hard. I was hooked from that point on, and I made every effort to listen to every good bit I could get my hands on.

During the freeplay and they played the Laci Peterson song with the line "Momma these are for you" and the boys reaction to it was so classic, I signed then and there.

My first time was at the start of NEW.... The listeners were just bashing them and I remember thinking to myself look how they are not only taking the calls and the bashing but they are actually turning it into good radio! After that it just progessed to the obsessive pest that I am today!!!

I think it was late '99 and they had some chick in the studio who worked upstairs. The woman was trying to plug her internet wedding site. Yea, a site that actually married people on the internet. And Opie told her that he would only let her plug the site if she would let someone stick their head up the back of her wedding dress, he called it playing "Old Time Photogropher" with someone.

I couldn't believe how funny it was watching this chick try to get a plug for her site so bad and they just wouldn't let her get it out.

It's not even a good bit, but that was when I finally realized how different a radio show it actually was.

For me, it's the same as someone who posted earlier. The staple gun challenge, when O&A were doing it. I was sort of listening on and off, til my one buddy told me what they were doing, I listened, and was hooked since then. Sadly it took me about 10 months to get the XM online subscription with my new Dell (I didn't know too much about it, didn't know it was an option), but I've got the virus yet again.

Summer 1996, I had been in the Carribean then Cali for about 5 months and had just returned home to Boston.
I found out about WOW on a Tuesday afternoon show, and the next day a few of us hit 495 and route 9 trolling for boobies. Remember when callers would give hourly updates on where they were being flashed?...."dude there's three chicks in a convertible on the turnpike flashin' everybody"...didn't see boobs, but saw a lot of other vehicles plastered with homemade WOWs.
I was addicted from that Wednesday show onward.

Dude I was right below you guys on the ground level. I remember those chicks flashing, wasn't the biker chick who got kicked out for flashing right near you guys at one point? I actually was given tickets to the show by Rick because I was at the studio like two weeks before the game (AOTM). I even have an "Official O&A Inappropriate Bell" ahhh the stupid shit from the old WNEW Prize Closet.

Listening to the boys on AAF back in 1996 or so... I guess you can call me a 133T fanboi!

I' ve been a loyal listener since they were first on AAF also. The funny thing is (sit down folks and wait for the funny) when the bbboys were on NEW and first resyndicated in Boston, I hated lil' jimmy. But within two weeks i had been infected by the Norton virus. That little meaty breasted nothing really helped bring their show to the next level of funny...

They first came on WJFK .....

After about two weeks, I started to arrange my travel around the show. They did a bit where listeners came in a a panel of doctors examind their boils and growths.....
One dude had a skin tap in his hog and Jimmy asked does it say Bang. I still to this day laugh about that.

When my wifes family sat silent and stunded at homeless shopping spree.....
I knew I had found a home and was hooked.

Hey we got two super bowl tickets, no travel no hotel. Who wants to go? Here's some choward eat up.

Bought the XM receiver just for the show.

I've been hooked to O&A since 2001 when I moved to Philly and found them on WYSP doing one of those interviews when they abuse the guy. Absolutely hysterical. I used to download the mp3 streams when they moved to XM because I'm a cheap douchebag but I just bought an XM unit for my car to support the boys!!!

I started listening to OnA a couple of weeks after they started in Philly. I liked the show but still wasnt really sure why 94 had decided to start running a talk show. I was a casual fan for a while. -Then of course came the absolute greatness that was 'SEX FOR SAM 2'. I'd never heard anything so fucking funny and original on radio before. That show was radio aids for me, I got the virus that day and my T-cells been dropping since.

I got hooked back one fateful day back in January of 99' on WNEW... I remember working as a Production Assistant (which fuckin' blew ass) and being stranded in rush hour traffic on the fuckin' George Washington Bridge on the way home from being stuck at the Hoboken Ikea all fucking day.... The other P.A (aka Franky "Steak Knife") I was working with tuned them in on truck radio and turned me on to the bbboys...And the rest was history!

If I remember correctly the bbboys where talking about the listeners crashing or taking down the New York Radio Message Board....

The moment I got hooked is when I was listening to the bbbboys with my friend Craig. At that time I'd never heard of them (I live in K.C.) They were in Washington and they had Dee Dee in studio. The boys ended up spanking her on air and then ended up talking to her mom on the phone. It was the funniest thing I heard on the radio (again, I live in K.C.)

That was about 8 months ago. Since then the only station on in my car is XM 202.

Sheeeet I been listening off and on sence they replaced Liz Wild at WAAF in boston on around 4 to 8 pm. I think that was there first gig together officaly. I herd the mayor menino died on april fools day live then saw on the news scrolling across the screen "Mayor Menino is fine on vacation in cape cod" or something close to that. I think Ive even met em at a godsmack show. Back when godsmack was just a local band renting lighting equiptment and sometimes sound gear from my PA company and O&A wernt as huge as they are now. I was too busy working to talk to em tho. You guys know way more about them than I do tho.
