Why do i buy dvds every week & how many do you have now?

I have over 500 dvds.

I know they are going to fuck us an remake all of the dvds we have on High Definition Dvds and we will all have to go buy them again.

I feel like a fucking lemon... Every weeek i buy the new dvd that i like or i buy my favorite tv or movies on dvd and i know i will want a ton of them in HD.

So i saw this dvd player that has up conversion to HD.
I bought it and found out that all upconversion HD DvD only work with dvds that have no copy protection.So i called and asked wtf has no copy protection and the answer they give is your home movies. ~GG~

So how many dvds do you have and what are you going to do when they change formats to HD DvD ?

I am sure that the most the dvd players will play both types of disc. They know that wont stop you from buying the dvds again in HD.

i have around 150 maybe another 300 of movies/tv shows ive dl'ed and burned. dvd quality is fine, hdtv is nice but not nice enough to buy/convert anything to it

The must burns for me are the Ufc,Pride,bushido & boxing.

I have about 20 regular movies, was into buying them every other week, but then realized alot of times they stay in the original plastic, never watched. As for porno DVD's well, you don't want know.

I only buy the obsure not seen on tv crap...Toxic advenger..Pink Flamigo's.Evil dead series and some britcoms..The populr movies will always be on some movie chanell..but how many times do you see the uncut version of Frankenhooker...

yeah thats what I do. Troma shit rules. I usually don't buy mainstream movies unless its really really good and i plan on watching them alot. "Cannibal Holocaust" comes out Oct 25th

This is what Netflix is for, my friend. I get all the obscure movies I never wanted to rent at Blockbuster (if they even had them) from Netflix. I get alot of movies that are parodied on shows. I mean, I never would have bought or rented Citizen Kane, but I got it from Netflix...

I have between 400 and 500 myself. Not sure what dvd player you bought that wouldn't upconvert for you since it just upconverts the signal and nothing else. Maybe it is a matter of whether it has seperate DAC for video on whether it will upconvert or not. I know that the only ones that will upconvert everything have the Faroudja chipset in it. Check that out cause I know you can buy them that don't have the problems

I tend to leave them on my hard drive when I do the rips, and then never get to burning them! :)

I have about 50 DVD's, only but movies I like a lot. I have not tried netflix, still going to Blockbuster...never burned a DVD...sounds like I might be missing some good stuff.
