You've all seen them. R-rated movies with strippers, sex scenes, shower scenes or various other erasons why the female characters are nude on screen but don't show. I don't mean throwing in nudity just for nudity's sake, I mean when the movie really calls for it.
Usually it's because a director is more concerned with getting a star name instead casting someone who will do the role as written or an actress that changes her mind after she is hired.

I can think of two, off hand. The first is Jessica Alba in Sin City. When she was hired to be Nancy, it was with full knowledge that the character spends the majority of the movie topless. Once shooting began, Alba approached the director and asked him to change it. Instead of fireing her ass, he let her get away with wearing a top and, thus, she was the only character in the movie that was not true to the comic book.

The other is Natalie Portman in Closer. She plays a fucking stripper, for Christs sake. She filmed the topless scenes. Then she decided she wasn't comfortable with the nudity and told the director to remove it.

I don't get these fucking chicks. If you don't want to be nude, which I can understand, then don't get cast as a stripper. Is that so fucking hard?

Besides, don't these chicks realize the clock is ticking and they need to show some skin before it's too late?
