I was listening to Ron and Fez this morning and their movie guy actually said this movie was as good as 'The Godfather'..He raved about this hot '69 scene..

I actually walked out of this movie...The '69 scene sucked, she wasn't even naked, and the story was horrendous...

I cant decide on the movie. I think the critics may have hyped it too much, but I still thought it was a pretty good flick. Better than a lot of the shit thats been out recently.

Saw it this week. Man, I went in there having been told there are all these twists in the plot. Nothing was surprising. After seeing it, I honestly feel that the preview tells the whole story (minus one thing which I guess is supposed to be this big shocker, however I wasn't very shocked). I dunno, it was ok but I expected much more.

Eh, it was alright. I saw it wednesday when my theatre screwed up Serinity and gave us all free passes and a free movie that day. Didn't know anything about it going in so I had no expectations. I thought the movie was pretty good most of the way through but disappointing at the end.

I believe that all the people who walked in having no idea what this film was about were blown away (Opie)...but the rest of us, who can actually comprehend a trailer that gives the whole film away, thought it sucked ass

I enjoyed the movie, but holy SHIT it had some open ends. I believe a prequel is in order on this one. When he went to Philly to see his brother again, how the FUCK did his brother miss him from 10 feet away? That's what bugged me. And it ended pretty abruptly. However, when he was being held up in his front yard and punched that dude in the face 5 times, that fucking ruled. I'd give a a 3 out of 5.

I had high expectations for this movie and it turned out to be a total let down. The acting was atrocious and so was the linear plot. Analyze This had more believable mafia characters than this shithouse of a film. The ending was abrupt and uneventful. That's a good thing because another half hour would have enraged me. This one was really bad. I apologize to those of you who enjoyed it, but I don't really get it. I guess the lack of quality releases gives these types of weak films an advantage and softens critic reviews. And a majority of people buy into the hype. I for one, do not. I will not be adding it to my DVD collection anytime soon.

I agree with Jules that the movie had potential to be great, it had some really talented actors in it but they just didn't deliver. I can't get over how fucking retarded the son was in the film. The only part of the movie where he did a decent job was when he kicked that other kids ass. I just don't get the hype.

Saw the movie last night. I was expecting a great movie from what Opie said and a lot of critics said. I was totally let down. I thought the acting was absolutely awful. The story line ran so slowly and you never get a real payoff (remind anyone of The Sporanos?). The scenes of violence were great. I loved how they showed the aftermath of what he did (dudes jaw blown off from the gun shot to the head, etc...), most movies just show the violence. All in all I would give it 2 out 5 stars.

We got it last week from Netflix and watched it last night. My wife and I both enjoyed it. The guy was a pretty good fuckin shot.

I was hoping that the two highway killers were gonna ice that punk kid after he flipped them off in his vehicle. It would have been better then seeing "Joey's" kid beating the shit out of him at school.
