Let me preface this post by saying that I only play blackjack... all other casino games (outside of poker) are utter scams that you have no chance of winning on a consistent basis.
Biggest win in one night - about $1650 after about 6 hours of playing.
Biggest loss in one night - about $700 after about 1 hour of playing.
Overall, I would say I am up over $10,000 on blackjack, but I usually only play on bachelor parties to Windsor or Niagara, so most of that money has been blown on strippers and booze. Incidentally - that $1650 was at the latest bachelor party, in August, and the groom had the night of his life, as did the rest of the guys. I was like a fucking pimp that night.

Theres one game better than BJ odds wise.. If Im having a good night I'll drop 500 on black or red roulette, you've got a 48% chance of winning highest odds in the sino.

Actually those odds suck as well.. you are getting 2:1 odds on your money and only 2.08:1 odds on the spin. You would need to hit once out of every three spins but you are only going to win once out of every 3.08 spins. That .08 is where they bleed the money from you.

Just seems to me one spin for a big bet is a good deal. Just how i see it. Its quick and you either double your money or lose, period, its a fun leaving the casino bet for me.
Im headed down AC right now wish me luck,,, gotta get my Howie Mandel tickets for tomorrow night. Hopefully i wont have to poost a bigger lose than i already did when i get back.

You honestly believe you have a shot at "winning on a consistent basis" at black jack? Bzzzzzz, wrong, try again dumb ass. You have NO shot at "winning on a consistent basis" at ANY casino game. If you play black jack perfectly by the book, you may lose slower, but in no way shape or form do you have any chance at winning over the long haul (of course, this discounts card counting). Steve Wynn would not be in buisness if ANY of the games paid "consisent"ly.

i went to vegas for the first time this year for vegas market. i was there 5 days which was a loooooooong trip. the last day was my birthday, so i was feeling lucky. got to the MGM grand, played hold em for a bit and then went to hit up the black jack tables.
took $200 to the $10 min table. lasted about an hour on at the first table before i busted. went back to the ATM, got 200 more. lost that in 20 minutes. went back to the ATM, tried to get another 200, and i couldnt. i had maxed out my withdraw for the day, so i called my bank and told them i need another 400.
took $250 back to the table and trippled that in about 3 hours. walked with $750 with this hot milf standing next to me the whole time. i told her she coulnt move because everytime she walked away i lost my ass. it was fun, i ended up playing black jack for another 12 hours. i got there at 3pm on friday and left at 8 am saturday morning. i could never get back up after that. i just kept breaking even. it was fun, the last hand i put in $135 and caught a very nervous 4 card 21, the last hand i played in vegas.

Took 6 months building a healthy bankroll on local hold-em games. Took 20,000 to Louisiana. I played 36 hours straight. In that game, i lost 15,000, then won 20,000. Ended up with 5,000 profit, and left feeling like a whipped puppy.

Suck a fart out of my asshole.
I am going on my personal experience. Besides, I said blackjack is the only game that you have the CHANCE to win on a consistent basis. It doesn't mean you WILL. I know, from my experience, that if you understand the game, you seriously up your chances of winning at blackjack. Sure, I have had nights when I have lost, but I have won way more than I have lost over time, and it has gotten to the point where it is more than just luck. I know what I am doing, and I know how to play to win. Blackjack is the ONLY game I play, simply because it is the only game that I have ever consistently won on. I would get waxed at poker, since I really have no clue how to play with the good players, so I don't even try.

Let me retort:
You are a typical mark. I love to gamble.
But I understand there is no game that you can win at. You keep saying you win "consistently". No, you do not. Read my first post. You can linger longer, but you can not win "consistently". You can win one day, you may win two or three days in a row, but you will lose consistently unless you count cards. It is a fact, the law of averages will back my statement.
You state you have won more then you lost. You would have to be a complete idiot not to go pro. But you know what smarty pants? There is no such thing as a pro black jack player. The only way to win is to be a card counter, which I am sure you are not because you believe playing basic strategie alone will make you win.
You get nothing, you lose, good day sir.

Okay, shitdick. How the hell can you comment on what I have done? Do you know me? Have you ever seen me play blackjack? Let's see.... NO!! So, how the fuck can you say what I have, or have not, done? You go by your "law of averages" and think that it applies to everyone. Sure... if you are at a table that has 10 players, the house will probably beat 5-6 of those players on any given hand. However, there are plenty of thing that you can do to lessen the cahnce that you are one of those people. It all comes to do the appropriate times to hit, stay, double down, split, etc. Also - I don't win every damn hand, in fact I probably only win 50% of the time, but it's the amount of money played that determines whether or not you end up losing or winning. When I say I win consistently, I don't mean that I win all hands. I mean that I walk out of the casino with more $ than I walked in with. That to me is winning. I don't care if I only win 25% of the hands in any given night, as long as the ones I do win pay me much more than the ones I lose.
So, shitdick, I DO win consistently, and I AM up about $10,000 dollars for my entire blackjack "career", and you and your stupid "laws of averages" can't tell me that I am wrong, because I have the money and the personal experiences, and you don't know shit about me or what I have done.
YOU get nothing, YOU lose, fuck off, sir.

No matter how good you strategize BJ the house always has the advantage.. Im as good as you can get at BJ without counting or cheating and without a lil luck. I lose.
The trick to bj if there is one as far as im concerned is the cards come around and when there comming to you you have to grab your balls cross your fingers and bet big.
Sometimes ill play two hands so if the dealer keeps getting to good a cards ill drop back to one hand to change up the cards falling where they have been.... break a rythem.... once a dealer gets the shoe in her favor your fucked walk away if she wins any more than three in a row, or knock your bet down to bare bones till the cards come your way again.
P.S Tropicana has 600.00 of my dollarsa from Friday night, i f i walked away up 8 i mighta had a brain.
Best advice is " DONT GET GREEDY" if you win lil s0omethin somthin leave. hanging around for the big kill is rarre and you usualy lose your ass.

I never gamble where there are house odds. I have a regular game with my buddies from the neighborhood. It basically ammounts to 6-8 guys pushing money around in a circle. That's a damn good time.
The Idea of giving money away willingly to a huge casino is distasteful to me.

Again... are YOU for real??? You actually think that you know what I have done? You actually think that you know how many times I have played, and how many times I have walked out of a casino up or down? You don't, assfuck, so stop pretending like you do. I don't need your fucking approval, and I'm sure as hell not trying to convince your stupid ass. You must be the kind of player that causes me to leave a table, because you have no clue what you are doing. That's fine if you think you know everything, including whether I have won at blackjack or not. You go on living in your silly little bubble where you are always right. I will live in the real world where I have all the memories of winning lots of money (not ALL the time, as I have said 3 times now), and I have the pictures of strippers, beer, and bachelor parties that my winnings paid for. But, then again, according to you, none of that every happened, so I must be imagining it, right?

Not in Ohio. When I was at the University of Cincinnati, we would go over to Rising Sun, IN to gamble on the riverboats. It was only about a 45 minute drive from campus. Now, we go to either Windsor or Niagara, mainly for bachelor parties.

That's pretty much my game here too. Although I win more often than not - I'm above ground I'm pretty sure. Won about $30 two weekends ago and $80 this past weekend. I prefer poker for the reason that it's not based on house odds. I'm starting to play more often and figure to get better. Of course, I'll never win more than $100 playing my hack friends.
I've lost about $150 in one day to the casinos - playing blackjack and slots.
I'm pretty small time when it comes to dropping cash - although if I ever REALLY have $10,000 to blow I'll seriously play poker for a year and take a stab at the WSOP.
MotherShucker: I'm not going to claim to win at ANYTHING other than poker (although I'm pretty sure I'm "up" playing blackjack as well) - but there are people that win at blackjack. There are people that win at the slots. There are people that win at craps. All of those games really have to have winners or NOBODY would play. Just because the odds are against you doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of people who haven't had those odds catch up them - and the odds may never catch up to FreeTheCricket. Hell there are people out there that are "up" playing the lottery. Get over yourself already.

Oh.. don't get me wrong (like someone else here). I know full well that there is a lot of luck involved, and I certainly could get a run of shitty cards. However, based on what I have managed to win over the past 10 years or so, I would say that I know what I'm doing. I only go once or twice a year, so it's not like I gamble all the time. Plus, I will take like $500 or so to gamble with, and if I lose it, then I lose it... I won't play anymore. However, when I start winning, I will put the amount I walked in with into my pocket and keep adding a chip every once in a while, so that my "keeper" pile in my pocket gets bigger. Then, if I lose a bunch after I am up, I still have what's in my pocket, and it is usually $100-$200 more than I came in with. Also, I have a max limit. If I go on a crazy winning streak, I will stop playing if I get to the point that I have tripled my money. I've managed to do that a few times, and it is fun. I am not like some people who feel like they have to gamble until their last penny is gone. THAT is why I can say that 7 times out of 10, I walk out of a casino with more than I walked in with, even if it is only $50 more.
And if you fucking flame me one more time I will fucking rip off your head, and shit down your neck.
Pretty tough talk over the internet, boy. Wow... I'm scared. No, really... I am.
