since we are all having fun with our firearms, is anyone here a NRA member? I am a life member, have been for a couple of years now.

I've stopped supporting the NRA due to their stance of not fighting any and all gun control laws (they comprised once too many times for my beliefs) there should be no laws regarding firearms, period.

GOA and others are much more deserving of financial support, IMO.

My membership lapsed about a year ago. I changed my adress about 50 times, but they kept mailing crap to my parent's new house in PA, that I NEVER lived at. Figured I'd sit out a year or two, then re-join so I get stuff mailed directly to me.

I would appreciate if they cut down on all the junk mail. Just send me a card, a couple stickers, and American Rifleman to MY HOUSE.

They also waste a ton of money on stupid political races, ie, the john kerry billboards with the dog on them. How about spend that money on races that will really effect gun control issues...

I believe if Any Lib wins any office that our gun rights are in jeopardy.

Looks like the NRA might actually take a stand against gun control in San Francisco

Will they take it to the SC when some asshat lower court rules in favor of it?

The NRA had the chance in 1934, 1968 and 1986, they still manged to drop the ball on the one yard line.
