I am still floored by this woman, and by knowing there are millions of people just like her in the USA.

Scary. She is all emotion, and no intellect.

Her own religious inflexibility prevents any possible successes of her and her family.

I love the arrogance of the truly "faithful." They dare presume that they know what the right and true way is to salvation; that their beliefs are the only right ones. Aren't they, in all their religious fervor, claiming that they know the mind of God?

She, and others like her, are proof positive of the destructiveness of religious fanaticsm.

These assholes are so afraid of randomness and uncertainty, that they cling to their religiousness like a man holding a life ring in the middle of the ocean.

Sure, the TV producers were immoral in thinking that putting an obviously mentally ill religious fanatic woman on a TV show would make great TV (it does), but, you don't see any producers killing abortion doctors, or blowing up buses full of kids.

Well her family is really religious too but they don't act like her. Let's be honest; they didn't just pick some random super religious woman. They picked the loudest, most emotionally unstable, ugliest, dumbest woman they could find. Hell, they probably didn't go directly to her. They probably went to churches in the area and asked around to see who was the local psychopath.
