Does anyone remember Robby Gordon's helmet he threw at Micheal Waltrips car?? When the auction on ebay first started the helmet got up to over a million. They had to pull it, in the end it went for 50k or so. There are always people fucking around with ebay and the sellers.

About $3,000. For $500 I can get a dedicated gaing system that will kick the crap out of anything less than a $3,500 computer. If you have that kind of cash, and the $500 you are gonna need every month to keep it upgraded then more power to you. I don't so I will plop down $400-500 for the 360 and $500 for the PS3 and I wont incurr any more costs untill 2010.

i put together a sweet gaming system for under 2000. 6000 would be total overkill.

No, you put together a marginal machine that's not gonna have the power of the 360 let alone a PS3. You gotta have some serious (hoo hoo) frame rate issues with a comp that cheap. Can you even play Marrowind with mods?

My cousin and I have come up with an idea 10x better than this auction shit. It wont make as much money, but its virually guaranteed esecially if Sony pulls off this same shit with the PS3. We get online early and try to be one of the first 10. From there we wait it out and at the last hour we start auctioning off our spots to everyone else who is waiting.

I'm going to preorder the PS3 just for Ebay. I should have done it for the 360 as well.

I agree with Biv, I'd rather spend $400 on a console that will allow me to play the latest games for 4 or 5 years on a 65"HDTV with surround sound than keep upgrading a pc for every new game.

I have a $5,000 pc AT WORK. It allows me to make a nice paycheck.

I took my kid to EB Games the other day to get him a game I promised him for doing good on his report card and the guy behind the counter took what must've been 13 calls from people asking about the availability of the Xbox 360 and all he kept repeating was "Well look, we've got 130 of them on pre-order that are now back ordered and we're not even sure when those are coming in, but hey, if you want to come in and leave a deposit.....click....'

Fucking guy must've wanted to kill himself by the end of the day.
