quick question fellow baggers. i have a '05 nissan sentra se-r and i was considering changing the gauge cluster color and tint the windows. does anyone know a good reliable place in central-northern nj or nyc area that could do these things relatively inexpensively but are also good at doing it so i won't be wasting money. additionally i was wondering where i can find laws on the restrictions of tinting; for example how dark can it be?

In NJ you can only legally tint the back windows. The front drivers and passenger windows must not have any tints for you car to pass inspection. However, if you get your car inspected for four years you can tint the front windows and have a valid inspection sticker. If you ever get pulled over though, put your windows down. That will get you off of most tinted window tickets.
As for a place that is good at tinting, Custom Window Tinting is probably the best. I have had 7 cars done there and never had a problem, and they guarantee their work for the life of the car. As for the gauges, you can probably do those yourself if you are careful and follow the instructions.
Good luck
