Classic bro! Don't fret man, at least you finished school. A degree is always a good thing to have, even if it is sports management. Actually that is something I wish I went to school for, not to get all into life conversations, but do you intend on actually following up on being in sports management? Like managing a team, or like GM type shit?

Definitely. I interned in the summer of 2000 with the Newark Bears and last summer for the MetroStars. Right now, I'm finishing up a season of part time work for NBA Entertainment and the New Jersey Nets, just a gig doing some video logging but I get to go to every home game with media credentials and make 40 bucks :) My degree is more a business degree than anything else. Sure, I took classes called sports management and sports marketing but the basic concepts were no different than any other marketing class. My degree actually is a Bachelor of Science in Business administration with a concentration in Sports Management. Pretty strange..So along with sending my resume out to numerous teams I've also looked for typical business jobs but the job market is pretty pathetic right now.

Tell me about it. Just be happy your not a High School drop out making $12 dollars an hour with zero benefits. At least you know you have a future ahead of you, I don't know if I am ever going to get out of this job. Anyway, good luck with that shit. Maybe one day you will land a GM job with the Mets, and I can give you some scouting reports. Good luck bro.
