Ok, the whole candle thing may be a little... how do I say it... unoriginal but that's all I could think of right now.

Starting early morning when the first plane hit one of the towers, every person around the country should come outside with a lit candle. The time will have to be adjusted throughout the zones to match NY time. Let the flames in our hearts burn together and ever so bright to honor those who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy.
