I don't want to come off like I'm telling you guys what to do or how to run your show, but after what happened Tuesday, I'm not sure if I were in your position I'd want your fans putting out press releases that end up on yahoo when anyone could mistake them as being from the show, or ath the least very close to the show.
That being said, the fact that Yahoo now has a news story with a headline in bold print including the words "Tissue Time with Beth and Allison" is pretty fucking funny.

I hate to throw a wet blanket on all the excitement here, but the pr-newswire and all of it's affiliates that have been linked to in this thread are not news stories that have been filed or reported by any news organizations. Those are simply online archives of press releases that individuals have released to notify the press of something that the person doing the press release wants the press to consider covering. In other words, no press or news agency has covered or reported this story, but rather some individual created a phony press release and submitted it to an online press release repository.
It was a cute little prank, but nothing to get too excited about, although some dumb reporter out there might actually pick up on the press release and report it as news.

Every pest should try to send this in to reporters. fax or email it in to entertainment reporters at your local paper, radio station and TV. Fax is preferable, you can get normally get ahold of fax numbers from the newspaper/radio/tv website. Same with who the entertainment reporter is.
The main purpose was to get under Howard's skin. I am sure this has been done, but more press will be better. In addition post it up on applicable newsboards.

OK Next press release is the O&A charity event "Homeless shopping spree" I cant wright for shit but we gotta get that one out as a "positave way to give to the homeless" we spend alot of time patting our you your selves on the back and its well deserved But Howards everyware in the media so we gotta be everyware. Im by far not a general but I do have the faith.
P.S. please run this idea by the generals for an OK befor you go too far with it.
Do not send out press releases on your own. If you have any ideas contact myself, Dugout Doug, Boston Strangler, BAM or any other general or wackbag adminstrator. We do not want this to go overboard.
Assistance on ideas and volunteers for efforts are always welcome.

Please spread this information
Some one needs to get this on FARK and New York Radio News Board
The army was the source for the billboard. Now spread the information on this news
You have the links, go ahead and send it
Here is supposently a listing of links: Please spread them around to newspapers (especially entertainment reporters), radio news and boards.
Every pest should try to send this in to reporters. fax or email it in to entertainment reporters at your local paper, radio station and TV. Fax is preferable, you can get normally get ahold of fax numbers from the newspaper/radio/tv website. Same with who the entertainment reporter is.
ok and now this:

i think Chucky means to spread around official press releases to news organizations and such, not to make up fake press releases on your own. and even when trying to get a press release done, choose the subject wisely. it would be rather trivial if we tried to make every single bit O&A do into a press release.

Glen the tool got it. My response of not sending out press releases was regarding new ones people make up on their own. Someone suggested one on the homeless shopping spree which is not a bad idea, We are being very careful not to overdue this avenue. It needs to be used only on a limited basis and for good reason. Not all of our initial thoughts on press releases have gone out.
WHen we do put out an official O&A army release we want the pests to push it. We are also looking for those with writing ability and or contacts to step up and join what will now be the AP (Associated Pests).
side comment: These press releases actually took a good bit of time with a great collaborative effort. Each of us has our own idea of cute or meaningful points. Together it turned out excellent. What was also key was that each of us was receptive to comments and suggestions from each other. Though all of us but one honorable pest want recognition we relize that the overall best product is more important then any individual contribution. Again I would like to thank Norfcal, BAM and unmentionable pest for their collaborating with me on this task.
Those desiring to help should send an email to me at Ben_shog @hotmail.com
It also costs funds to put these press releases out through services that truly distribute them. Those wishing to support the finances of the O&A Army should send an email message to Ben_shog @hotmail.com

I have a feeling we'll be hearing about him in 15 years. One of his girlfriends will have been chopped to pieces in the basement fridge.

HOLY JESUS CHRIST. Mind you I live in Seattle like Biv.
Got this email actually from a mutual co-workers of ours. How should I react?
"I am in New York City from Thursday to Sunday. Yeppers, I'm going to the Stern party for his last show. Spur of the moment, I booked it last Friday...$400 for Transportation, Air and 3 nights Hotel. Pretty good deal, eh?
I will take plenty of pictures...hopefully I'll be close to get some good ones. I was so excited to tell you.
Talk to you soon! Any place in New York that I shouldn't miss? After the party Friday and all day Saturday I'll be in the city.
Hey Now!"
I'm not sure I can even be his friend anymore.

That's a brilliant idea.... hold a "Pest Conference"
"Yeah, the old broad in the front, what's your question?"
"Um... mr... is it ConnorPetersonsUmbillicalCord?"
"Yes, what's your questions?"
"You keep mentioning Ben's Hog. Is Ben a farmer or a biker?"
