The last few days Ive been going to working with this guy whos a hoo hoo fan. We had this long discussing on Monday and I said how he thinks he invented it all and that on Sirius hes gonna have no show since he cant bitch anymore.
He put the show on Tuesday. I just cant get into it. Maybe Im bias but I think he just sucks. He spent the first hour and 20 mins talking about how his picture in NY magazine wasnt used with his support. He also said he invented something random. About 2 hours in, the guy was like, "you werent kidding. All he does is bitch and lie."
I also noticed that Artie, who used to be funny, now just chimes in like robin does with one word answers.
I just hope the boys dont get screwed so they can go head to head with him. It would be so great to see them beat him to finally shut up all those morons who worship him and refer to him as 'Daddy'.

Oh, and as far as Sirius goes, my brother has it, I have listened to their hack crappy programming, and I rather listen to blank static on AM than the crap they are spewing onto the airwaves. I also do not have a CDL, so I cannot drive a vehicle large enough to carry a Sirius portable unit.

I'm in the same boat as BigDeliciousHog. I like the music on Sirius better, and right now O&A are the only thing keeping me from cancelling XM. As long as the boys are on XM I will be on board, but the day they leave I'll drop XM without a second thought.
If that happens, I would give Hoo Hoo's new show a try, but I would probably just end up listening to music in the mornings as I never did enjoy 'ol Hook Nose

After reading your post, and then pondering such a scenario I came to this conclusion. I would actually keep my XM. I would listen to Mike and Mike in the morning on ESPN Radio. Then at 11 I would listen to Ron and Fez, then at 3 I would listen to The Show on Home Plate.
I live in that shit hole known as WV. I drive 200+ miles a day for work. Terrestrial radio here is awful. In the mornings I have Bob and Tom, Johnboy and Billy, or Lex and Terry. No thanks to any of them. Now all of the sports stations like ESPN, and Sporting News are on AM. Good luck getting those drivng through the mountains here.
I almost cancelled XM when they kille Liquid Metal, but O&A kept me around. I just bought an mp3 player to listen to the metal that I like. I am a HUGE Astros fan, so I can catch day games while working (not often, but it happens). Now that they have NHL I can follow the league while working as well.

I think you need a third option: I would buy Sirius, but not listen to Stern.
I have been a HUGE fan of his in the past, but the last two years his show has been unlistenable. Ever since the Janet Jackson thing he is incapable of doing a show without mentioning "FCC" or "Bush." Furthermore, he is barely even going to be on the radio. Let's add it up. 4 days per week x 3 hours per day = 12 hours per week of show. Now let's talk about commercials. A third of the time being commercials is not out of the question. So, that means he will be on the air a grand total of 8 hours per week.

The other satellite company sucks. Why would I pay to hear King of all Ripoffs and martha stewart? Besides I'm going back to school and would prefer to hold books in my backpack and not their portable unit. I've been shit-talking Sirius because it's genuine, not because of Howie. Going there while bashing them would just be hypocritical, hoo hoo.

Absolutely not. I was never a hoo hoo listener. The first time I sampled his show was after I saw his movie. I thought that maybe there was a bit more to him. I tuned in, didn't dig it and tuned away. I got XM for reasons other than XM (I got it prior to them signing on, didn't know anything about them until the freeplays) and have been pleased with XM's programming. I haven't listened to Stern for years, when it has been free. Why would I want to pay for it.

Depends. I'm going to give a little peak when he goes to Sirius regardless. There's a chance he might be abl;e to get some of the magic back. He did do a great show at one point.
I doubt I'd actually pay for Sirius just for him, but I might download the shows off of BitTorrent or something.

I'd just listen to the commercial-free music stations w/ the remainder of the subscription then sell the piece of shit on Ebay for $10

If I didn't have O and A, my life would fall apart - I would make it to work on time, I'd get my college assignments done, I'd read my homework, and basically, have my old life. No, I would go on a rampage and we don't want that, so O and A needs to stay.

No fucking way would I pay to listen to Hoo Hoo. He has phoned it in the last 10 years. Plus, I don't want to throw my back out carrying a Sirius unit around.

I might check out his new satellite show a few times out of curiosity, but other than that, I'm done with him and don't give a shit. If he'd retired from radio after his movie came out, I might still have some respect for the guy. But I don't have anymore time for this egomaniac, bullshit artist.

I would listen to Hoo Hoo for free, I still listen to him now and then. But I would never pay for his show, even if O&A were fired. Sirius will never see a dime from me.
Side note, I pay for 3 XM radios and an upgraded DTV package to get the BBoys and if they left XM, so would I.

I've had XM since late 2002, I havn't listend to Howard since he first came to WBCN and was played at night instead of morning drive. I'd rather listen to Deep Tracks, or the idiots in Boston call up WEEI and bitch about the Sox and Pats. Doesn't matter anyway, the boys aren't going anywhere. Good Luck Bros

No surprise here, good riddens. Would consider it treason. Like supporting the other country we are at war with.

I quit listening to Stern after he fucked Billy West over. Before I O&A came to XM, I listened to Imus, & Laura Ingraham in the morning.

There is not a snowball's chance in hell would I listen if the boys got fired. That would be equalivent of falling off the wagon. In a side note, if the boys got fired again, and then rehired, I would just give up, couldn't go through that shit again.

the whole thing with howard is he isn't funny anymore. it has nothing to do with the boys liking or hating him. just the fact that robin is allowed to talk whenever the pork slit feels like is more than enough reason to stay away from howard's show.
I originally got XM because of O&A but there is so much great programming that I will never give it up.I stopped listening to Stern years ago,I got tired of the same old dick jokes,Robin's annoying giggle,Howie's megalomania and the 20 minute commercial breaks.Fucking ponderous.

Let me Preface This by making this Statement:
I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE PLAY TO THEIR RACE'S STEREOTYPE!
That said:
I stopped listening to him long ago because he went from entertaining to being a whining, money grubbing, Jew!
Always Bitching about Money, and how everyone rips him off.
On a side thought....
I would love to be the person nailing his ex-wife and every time I hit her ass, call him up after he says "everyone rips me off" and say..."Yes I Did!!!!!"
