some of us who have been here for a considerably long time and know our "brand of homor" also know when our chains are being jerked, but not everyone can differentiate between jokes and serious statements on the internet, especially since we're getting swamped with guests and lurkers who aren't here every single day and don't know our humor. it may be best to avoid bold statements like that if you have no concrete proof, as to avoid any more gossip or panic than is already going on. speculate all you want with words like "if", "maybe", and "perhaps". but please avoid statements like the examples i've presented.
