I would love to hear another offensive song contest.... BUT

I think this might be one of the bits that wouldnt transfer over well to the no-rules atmosphere of XM.

hearing shit like the KKK song over regular radio was hilarious, and part of it was cuz you didnt believe they were actually playing that on the radio.

Actually there was a winner declared, and if my memory serves me correct, Anthony declared that the song was so offensive that they were ending the contest without playing the winner, but they did name one

One day I stopped on Stern, I could never listen too long because of that fat hole laughing all the time, couldn't stand her. You must be new to the show? MOSC was classic and very cringe worthy. All though you can curse on Satellite it doesn't change the fact that the content is what makes the song offensive. Even on XM the songs from the first contest will in fact piss off and offend somebody. O and A have been tame since they came back. The MOSC was far more shocking then anything they have done on xm even with out curses. I am sure all the WNEW fans would back me up on that.

jesus, i'm gonna have "Baby Raper" and "I'm Horny for Little Girls" stuck in my head all over again. the best was that they would play some of the songs for as long as they could before dumping out. they bleeped versions were hysterical too, even though the curses were bleeped out, you could pretty much guess what the word being bleeped was each time.

I have to be honest: I'm not sure anyone could come up with anything in a MOSC2 that would top "Baby Raper". Of course, this doesn't mean that I'm not willing to listen to the entries if anyone's willing to try. :icon_mrgr

If they were to do a MOSC2, I'd institute two rules: No songs about Jews, no songs about blacks. Both of those topics are fast lanes to Hackville. The songs would have be completely out of left field, like "Baby Raper" was.

when did you hear him do an offensive song contest? care to give us a ballparked date when you heard that? from what i recall, O&A's MOSC was in spring of 2000. i also recall that Howard was doing some parody song contest, and the first submissions had been a few of the MOSC submissions. supposedly, he was raving about how great and funny the songs were and had no idea where they came from until a caller or someone tipped him off that his fruntrunners for best parody song were previously heard on O&A, and Howard's parody contest abruptly ended afterwards. :icon_lol:
