Not exactly, since ESPN will have football on Monday nights, but it will be the last "Monday Night Football". Please tell me ESPN's 3 stooges, Theismann, Maguire, and Patrick won't be doing it. :mad5:

ABC Bids Farewell to Monday Night Football

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - If you were ready for some football, it was the place to be for 35 seasons on Monday nights. Tonight, the NFL bids farewell to ABC, with the New England Patriots playing the New York Jets.

The second longest-running series on network TV shifts to ESPN beginning next season.

The series began in 1970, with Keith Jackson handling the play-by- play.

ESPN is paying about $1.1 billion over eight seasons for the Monday night contract.

Yeah even though this game was scheduled a year ago, you would think they would have switched to one of the games that was played this past Saturday. You know what would make it for a good night, bring back O.J. considering he was used to do the broadcasts.

Have him lop off Sam Ryan's head on-air. Now that would be a send off.

Well 2 of the 3 stooges are out. Patrick and Maguire.

Al Michaels and Joe Theisman will be the team on Monday Night next year.

Doesn't the parent company of ABC own ESPN anyway?
