been having troubles with xm radio online. i've tried the actual one from the xm website and the xamp, and neither work. for some odd reason when i'm using xamp it says it's offline, i'm not sure why it isn't logging in. but when i try the one on the xm website it can't connect to any channel and gives up after a while and just says stopped. can anyone please help, i can't sit in my car all day and listen to the boys. :icon_mrgr
edit: this was working tuesday morning, but then stopped later in the day. also i am on a wireless connection, but that didn't affect it before.

I BELIEVE that you have to set Win Media player with the same internet settings as your browser (at work for me at least), or else streaming is impossible.
Yes, theres a button for STREAMING PROXY SETTINGS under options

I have had about 4 problems with XaMp in the few months I've used it.
Sometimes it just FUCKS up for NO REASON. Sometimes I've also seen they come out with a new version and you have to update.
Uninstall itm go get the program again and reinstall.
It'll be OK.

Is there a way to record off XaMp? My myfi is broken and I hate missing the show at work daily.

I'm almost positive there is, but you will need another program to record audio. The XaMp will allow the stream to stay on even when you are idle but you still need something to record the audio.
I know there was a thread about this with links to free recording programs over on Ronfez.net, but I'm sure that XM411 site has it too.

check your firewall settings as well. Shut it off and give the radio a shot. Obviously if it works thats where your problem lay...
