NFL.com has a small amount of referee signals, positioning and actions as well as definitions of different penalties, clock settings etc...

And found the full 216 page official guide here (http://www.americanfootballnews.com/nfl-rulebook.asp)

I thought it would be kind of cool to have the official book. It seems like every week there is some little obscure fumble rule or something else that I never heard of before. After watching PSU vs FSU last night and seeing a ineligable player downfield penalty get reversed because the ball was out of bounds prior to crossing the line of scrimmage (QB was scrambling, lineman went down field to block and QB ended up throwing the ball away) it got me thinking about the official rulebook and official referee's guide to learn a little more of the obscurities in my most time consuming hobby.

Funny thing about the NFL rule book is that a majority of it deals with all of the TV stuff. Reading a rules book is boring though, I am an official so I have to regularly read them. What you really should look for are football casebooks. A casebook will give you a scenario as well as the interpretation, and enforcement of the actual rule...

College rules are a little bit different from the pros, but here's the full rule book to add to your library...

That is cool. I like skimming through these things when I see a call that I dont agree with......not that I dont have faith in the refs, but I wanna be able to see and read the rule with my own eyes.
