MyIE2 is now Maxthon

Now for something more shocking:
MYIE2 & Maxthon use IE's rendering engine so you are just using IE with tabs, skins, and plug-ins.
This is true with avant browser, AOL's browser as well.
The newest netscape also allows IE rendering as a default.

I just downloaded Maxthon, but I don't like it as much as firefox. As the above post states, it is still IE.

I voted for firefox since it is on all my computers, but for just trolling the forums, I use Safari on my laptop.

The only problem I have with ff is it doesn't let me change the background on wb from the default black and yellow. I prefer the professional skin.

I only use IE for 2 web sites - my company's Payroll site and the Helpdesk site (because they are written to work ONLY with IE) - everything else is FF

Fuck IE!!!
I only use it when absolutely forced to via the IE View Extension (http://ieview.mozdev.org/) in FireFox.

I use Mozilla because it still performs better than Firefox for me, but I use Firefox for assistance with cracking websites (for data mining).
I can't believe I am the only Moz user here. It absolutely wins hands down in the stability contest, and has pretty much the same features as Firefox.

Firefox browser is better than the Mozilla suite in my opinion, funny how they are made by the same people.

I use Firefox, and Avant when I need to see a site that uses Flash.
click4more, are you still having problems using the professional skin with Firefox? I've used the skin with FF, and no problems.

IE has more security holes which allow spyware to be installed without your knowledge.

And Moz is more stable, and tabs are amazing, and FF/Moz have so many awesome extensions, and they are more pop up / spam proof, etc. Microsoft hasn't been working on IE for 4 years now. Do you guys realize that? They abandoned the product when they bought thier main competitor.
IE users are just fucking lazy. There is a product that is years ahead of IE, it's free, and takes less than 5 minutes to download and install. What the fuck is wrong with you guys?

Well, I don't have my own comp at the moment but here is my 2 cents:
1. There is nothing wrong with IE.
2. There is still not enough universal support for ff. For being so far ahead of IE they are embarrassingly behind on code support. Mix in some HTML recognition, deeks.
3. The above problem forces you to have multiple browsers installed, which can cause issues on all but the best computers.

IE works and opens everything I want.

I tried Firefox for a while. I didn't like it that much. I'm back to IE, and occasionally the new AOL version of IE. Maybe when I upgrade to a newer, better comp, I'll try FireFox again.

pornzilla= Best. Extension. Ever.
I hope IE can remain the dominant browser. If all the rubes who connect to "The AOL" start using FF/Mozilla, then it will become a target for hackers. I think where it is right now is good: popular enough to have support, but small enough to be ignored
Well, I don't have my own comp at the moment but here is my 2 cents:

Using IE is like using a broken condom.

There are some problems with not accepting retarded IE accepted html/css/directx code but FF is based on w3c standards, not some weird code that continually allows exploits that needs to be continually patched! It is like saying that I like IE because I get to have leaks in my roof so I can see the sun.
3. The above problem forces you to have multiple browsers installed, which can cause issues on all but the best computers.
So what if you have multiple browsers installed?
It doesn't cause issues for almost all computers. The exception is not the rule.

I've never had a single problem running both browsers, either in tandem or one at a time. There are maybe 1 in 500 web pages now that won't load properly with FF but if it happens I simply right click on the page and hit "open page in IE" and thats it.
IE is still an incredibly unsecure browser and while FF will get the occasional pop-up IE gets buried in them. I've also never had a drive-by download with FF as I've had many times with IE.
Like video cards I have no loyalty, whoever has the better product gets my patronage and right now IE is looking like the ol' Voodoo graphics company.
who is Voodoo?
Exactly. :icon_roll
