SWG its 2006, is anyone still playing but me?

all i know is there's no player traffic on the servers i play on and was wondering if anyone else is even playing this anymore or did you all give up after NGE a couple months ago? um on lowca and bria if anyone's even still here.

I still have my SWG account, just haven't reinstalled it yet. Recently rebuilt my computer, will eventually get around to popping SWG back on it. I'm curious to see what disaster the latest rebuild of the system will entail.

I was a swordsman named Drendan until the respec and then I went & fucked it all up by trading all my xp in for craftsman, pilot, smuggler, etc... over and over, and when I said fuck it & went back to swords I suddenly sucked at it. I think the rebuild had much to do with that though. I couldn't wear my comp armor anymore, my power hammer sucked balls, (I was taking down pikets with three swings before the respec) and everything just sorta sucked. Couldn't solo group effectively anymore, so I went broke quick...

sounds like im the only one still sticking it out which i figured considering there's no one left in any of the places where there used to be lag and hundreds of players like C-net or theed or darthomir. the few folks left are all on mustafar as its' the only place to level up if you're a cl of 70 or higher. i tried wow and eq but couldnt get into them because i dont have the patience to learn an entire new game and geography and find out what im doing. if SWG gets much gayer i may just give up on mmorpgs and stick with madden and baseball and xbox. its too bad cause swg was fantastic the first 1+ years until they got the shit-ass idea of changing the entire thing around. dont feel bad sword guy, i was MCH and my entire profession got nerfed. now i have a datapad full of rancors, grauls, spiders and other cool creatures that are worthless now. fucking SOE

i have it but i only played it for a week. i was thinking about gettting the lastest expansion and trying it again but i'm too into bf2 right now to find the time to play.

SWG got fucked into unplayability. It's like the good whore on the corner that everyone fucks but now she's got the herp and no one wants her anymore.
