just wondering if anyone had a socket 478 mobo for a p4 2.8 prescott w/ either agp or pcie that they would want to get rid of?

A really good but cheap mobo with 8x/4x AGP is the AsRock (Asus little sister) P4V88. Picked it up a while back off NewEgg for about $45, and it's a great motherboard for the money.

I've been unable to find a motherboard that will support my P4 3.0 Prescott (socket 478) and has PCIE slots. Anyone know if there any top-of-the-line AGP video cards anymore, or am I S.O.L. for upgrades?

This (http://www.asrock.com/product/P4Dual-880Pro.htm) ASRock socket 478 Board does both AGP and PCI-Express. Dunno if it's any good though. This one apparently has a true x16 PCI Express slot as well as AGP 8x.

Also there are still quite a few High end AGP cards available. It's not dead yet, although it's days are numbered.

Not to be Pete Pissontheparade, but.. I'm not sure if I'd trust a board that's both agp and pci-e.
