help!

my laptop has reed-o's. .exe files dissapear and the reappear after a couple of restarts. after boot up sometimes my desktop wont load right ( looks like a cross between standard xp and encoded (winblinds). all my programs endprogram after about 20 min of use. almost all of my windows programs wont run. worst of all i get the bsod about once a day. ive download all the programs you guys listed and they find nothing. mcafee dosent find a thing. ive already formated and reinstalled twice and it still happens.

is it a bad hardware?? today she seems to be working ok. yesterday was a nightmare. is it magnet time?

have you run scan disk and defrag and have damaged parts of the disk?

Do this:
Hit the Prt Scrn button when your screen gets fucked
Open MSPaint or whatever
Paste it
Save as jpg.

Yeah, see what's up as SOS mentioned. Post.

Bad startups, and programs closing, with frequent bsods... most likely it could be bad ram.

The fact you reformatted/reinstalled twice already, hmm.
Have you noticed the frequency of your problems increase with every reformat/reinstallation? If so, could be a dying hard drive.

Or both.
If clean installs haven't even worked correctly, it's a hardware problem.

deadbent, sos,

thanks guys, i did notice the frequency of the bsod go up after a fresh format and install. i couldnt get the screen to change again so i could save and post what it looked like. my dad made me this laptop for christams, he tore it apart yesterday after running some diagnostics. he found thanks to your input that my fan was shorting out. pretty much ruined my ram and hd. so he put new hardware in and replaced the fan and did a fresh install, she seems to be working excellent. i guess the heat was causing everything to short out. maby thats why the frequency of the bsod were going up, enprogram increased, and the display was jacked up from time to time. too hot. i feel like i need to run this on a block if ice now. thank you for the help.

Overheating is a big problem with laptops. Just make sure you have your settings set so it is set to turns of display in 30 minutes of non-use,standby in a hour of non-use.

Hibernate and turn-off HD at your own risk.
