Got some buddies on the way over and the big event is ordered for tonight. Lots of Jager, beer and food. Should be a fucking nasty fight. Cant wait, hopefully I am still coherent when the fight starts.

I saw something on HBO last night... was it their original fight from March? It was a FUCKING NASTY one... jesus, both guys were getting BLASTED in the face.

I'm not really big into boxing, but that fight last night was fucking brilliant!

Yeah both of them were all fucked up. There was fucking blood all over the ring. It looked almost liek an episode of Celebrity Deathmatch. The fight went all the way and Paquiao won the decision. The undercards should be pretty fucking decent as well. Drinking my fucking ass off. The bottle of Jager is half done already.

Hell of a fight. It really looked like by the end Morales just conceded defeat, although it could have just been because his legs ran out, which also really surprised me. Morales usually can go all day and night, a la his battles with Barerra. Paquiao made some great adjustments since the first fight and really looked solid last night. Cant wait for Morales/Pacquiao 3.

So was that fight 2 last night. For some reason I am thinking that was only two. Either way that was a great investment of $44.95 +tax. Sweet fight and I almost remember it.

I wonder if all those unbelievable battles in the past affected Erik or if it was just the pounding he was taking. I'm also glad to hear that no one here posted a "gloves" post. The only thing that made a difference was that Manny fought completely different and didn't try to throw straight lefts all night long. He threw his right hand a lot and made Erik move and back up a lot more. Even though Erik is a monster counterpuncher, you just can't win backing up all night.
