Last week on RAW, WWE Champion Edge attacked John Cena just when it looked like Cena was going to beat the Master Lock Challenge. Later on RAW, Cena returned the favor when he attacked Edge after the Rated R Superstar's successful title defense against Ric Flair in a brutal TLC Match. This Monday night on RAW, they will be in tag team action. WWE Champion Edge and a partner of his choice will face John Cena and a partner of his choice. Who will they choose as their partner? Find out on RAW.

Kane, who destroyed Carlito last week on RAW, will look to punish him again this Monday night.

WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus and Ashley will take on the team of Candice and Victoria. Will Mickie be able to stay out of Trish's business this week? Find out on RAW.

Also, Shawn Michaels will take on Shelton Benjamin. Will Shelton's momma continue to assist her son and keep him on the winning track?

See Frankie Kazarian...the guy who was being pushed as the next big thing on Smackdown (or actually Velocity...yes, I used to Tivo Velocity) until he refused to cut his hair and Vince fired him for it.

I think the bad gimmicks are like a rite of passage almost. They bring these young guys up, and see if they can break them. If they do, good-bye. If the guys shut up and do what they're told, they eventually might get a real shot.

Some people do say no. Elijah Burke, another young and apparently promising wrestling down in OVW asked out of the Spirit Squad gimmick and they agreed. It all depends, I'm sure part of these guys don't want to do it but it's also a chance to get called up to WWE and be on TV every week. That could be a hard thing to turn down if you were in their shoes.

And I wouldn't go so far as to say these guy's careers are ruined based on one night. There aren't too many top guys over the last 5 years that haven't been a part of something completely asinine during their career. Christian started off as a brooding, vampire type that didn't speak and who's leader drank blood. He turned out ok.
