The beanpot season is joyfully upon us as the tourney is only 2 weeks away. While I have no vested interest in the event I have purchased my tickets and will be there.

Just wondering if any other baggers will be attending either night of the tourney, and if so should there be a pre event meeting at one of the many bars around the fleet aah I mean Banknorth aaahh I mean TDbanknorth Gahden

Beanpot (n.) - A yearly four team college hockey contest between Harvard, North Eastern, Boston Universtiy and Boston College. Winners play and losers play...Winner of the Winners wins the beanpot...It is for bragging rights in college hockey.

This is the toughest ticket to get in boston short of the Red Sox Yankees. I had never heard about it until I moved here but the hole city stops, and the bragging rights between BU and BC are on the line

Harvard and Northeastern are just pawns in the bigger picture

I live way out here in Las Vegas, and I have always wanted to someday go watch the Beanpot. It is definetly on my sports to do list.

Maybe this year Boston College can win one.....Not that I care, but a couple of guys I play hockey with went to B.C., it's all they talk about this time of year.

If you're a hockey fan, it's a cool tournament.
