It's time to see who's gonna have their name engraved into the history of the greatest sporting event in the WORLD: The Superbowl!!!
Who's going to "step it up" and the the MVP of Superbowl XL?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say it will be Troy Polamalu. . . :icon_conf He's a ballhawk and the Superbowl is a ballhawk's game.
Post 'em like you've got a pair!!!

Matt Hasslebeck. Why? Not sure... I don't care about either team.

I'm going to go with Antwaan Randel-El...just to fuck everyone up. The Seahawks are going to double up on Hines Ward which will open up Antwaan...and then he'll be back returning punts, etc. The question is will they give him the MVP as a WR or as a PR? (no, not a Puerto Rican...)

If the Steelers win, it'll be because Big Ben (dude needs a better nickname) has a great game, so I'll go with him. If the Seabags win, Shaun Alexander will be the guy that gets them there. Thankfully I'll be at Sea World in sunny San Diego blissfully unaware of the whole mess...Guessing this will be the lowest rated Super Bowl in years.

Your powers of deduction are AMAZING!!! Dione Warwick and her PsychicFriends Network had nothing on you!!!:icon_lol:
I'm gonna jump on this prediction and take it "up a notch" by predicting that one of the NFL players (not necessarily from one of the participating teams) is gonna get involved in a drug bust and/or a homicide after the game, too!!!:icon_mrgr

Um...no. Your team has to win the game for you to be the MVP.
I'm betting Alexander.

Bettis. They'll use him to punch it in from 3-4 yards out. He'll get the "It's his last game" sympathy even if Big Ben has a killer game.

I'm not even gonna bother looking up his name but I say the Center for seattle will win the MVP. (or the LOLB it's a toss-up)

It'll be Big Ben. This is going to be a huge blowout, probably 38 - 10 Steelers. Seattle is basically fielding a girls softball team with a good coach and a strong running back.
Anything could happen... The steelers could just fall apart and throw the game away with turnovers and penalties, but no way are the Seahawks going to beat them. They didn't beat a strong team all season... They barely even beat Dallas. They did win against indy, but it was their second string and their head coach was burying his dead son.
The NFC is just too weak to compete.

I'd like Bobby Engram to get the MVP honors, just because he used to be a Bear. I hope the Seahakws win, as I am already fuckin sick and tired of all the Steelers hype by the bandwagon fans. All I hear is, "I want Bettis to get a ring"... since fuckin when does anyone care about the Bus' fat ass getting a ring?

HEEE HEEE, Sour grapes because Bettis knocked that pussy Brian Urlacher right the fuck out. The bears blow.

God am I gonna love it when Seattle beats a really weak steelers team by two TD's. You people are all fooling yourselves. Pitts was a 6 seed for a reason. All of your opponents choking in the post season doesn't make you a good team.

It has nothing to do with that game... I've never liked the Steelers. I am gonna laugh when that fat turd retires ringless.

Damn you... I thought I would be the "creative" one and say Randle-El. You beat me to it. I think he's gonna go the route of Desmond Howard and dominate the return game so much that he wins. He'll have a decent game at WR, but he will turn the tide with his returns.
You're a faggot for picking him before me. :action-sm

Talk about fooling yourselves, you guys are celebrating Matt Hasslebeck. That is worse than Denver touting Jake Plummer as an offensive weapon. Seriously, you guys have one quality NFL player in Shaun Alexander, and a good coach. That's it, the rest of your team are practice squad guys, and one mediocre rookie defensive back (Tatupa) that might become a starter on an AFC team someday.
Do you honestly not remember how bad your team stinks? Are you just like Bungles fans that forgot how bad your team was because of just one soft schedule? Your team didn't beat a quality team all year and you've coasted through the playoffs.
I'm not saying that Seattle has no chance of winning the Superbowl, I am just saying that they can't possibly defeat the Steelers. Pittsburgh could come out and fall flat on their asses, and hand an embarassing W to the team from the remedial league. That's about all you can hope for... You have to because this is your last chance. Shaun Alexander is gone next year and you are right back to last place.

Most steelers fans are not banwagon fans. They are fans no matter what, win or loose. Steeler's fans will travel and tailgate at away games.

If the steelers win it will be Willie Parker. There will be so much attention payed to Bettis and Rothlessburgerking that he can sneak in and have a great game...
If the Seahawks win (I hope so) it will be Darryl Jackson...He was out most of the year and is fresh.
