Guys, I have always loved your show, but for the past few weeks, all you seem to talk about is fucking football and betting. It's aweful.

I got XM in December of '04, and since that time, I have spent 99% of my time in the car listening to XM202. Now I find myself switching around during Ron and Fez, because it is the same fucking discussion for 3 weeks straight, maybe more.

Enough with the football, I have a shitload of football channels to pick from.

Please, for the love of God, stop talking about "your teams" as if you actually had anything to do with any football team.

Football fanatics are nothing more than non-athletic guys trying to be competitors without getting off their couch and risk spilling their Coor's Lite.

It makes for aweful radio, seriously.

1. Ron and Fez rule and the last couple weeks of thier show have been great.

2. I am a football fantatic and I am not some fat guy that can't do anything. That and Coor's Lite is a chick's beer. I say we lost the game because it feels that way to me. I am the biggest Colts fan there is and I just feel like I lost the game too so "we lost the game" comes out of my mouth. I am not stupid I know I have nothing to do with them losing or winning, but I do say it.

Thank you for finally showing your true colors. You aren't a fan who dislikes a certain bit or part of the program as you painted yourself to be originally. You don't like the show and never have. Stop listening, no one cares if you enjoy it or not.

This strawman argument always works so well. Not everyone enjoys when they discuss football, most people disliked the Elfish bet thing, at least until Ron's fantastic break on LSD. People just hate your foolish claims that there are dozens of channels on XM that do nothing but talk about football, and the fact that you wrote an open letter to Ron & Fez on this message board as if they not only will read it, but listen to it and will change their show because Howard's Yam Bag doesn't enjoy something and says it's "aweful (sic)".

No it's not. There is already a thread about it here http://www.wackbag.com/showthread.php?t=38708 complete with a poll which the majority of the people agreed with you, myself included. Recently I've been turned around on it, but regardless, we've already discussed this issue in a dedicated thread not to mention all the times people have complained about it in the listening threads. And no, I'm not complaining that you started your own thread to discuss an issue that already had a thread, I'm just saying no one attacked SOS and anyone else in that thread for their opinions.

It's not what you are saying that was so off putting, it's the snide way you are (or were) saying it.

I'm glad you've given the show a chance, feel free to discuss something you don't like about the show, just when you are doing it try to keep in mind all of the things you do enjoy about the show and maybe you won't be turned on so quickly.

Harry was the assistant producer (I guess) for ron & fez. He knew ron and fez before they came to XM. So, he originally interned with OnA, before RnF came to XM. He was famous for doing a bit (a mix of robert kelly breaking his knee and ray liotta from goodfellas) that everyone liked, and then requesting it himself online, pretending he was a listener. He got called out on the Air. When ron and fez came on board, he worked for them. OnA still hated him though. Harry left shit on anthony's desk one day, and Anthony tore him a new asshole and called him a "lying sack of cunt." I don't think he was fired, but chose to leave on sabatical, I think, or maybe that's a joke. Regardless, i'm sure he's fired now. I doubt you can take that long off without being fired. It may have been that XM didn't want to pay him. They seem like they cut alot of corners.

He was half armenian, have ecuadorian, but he was dark and hairy and nobody really knows where armenia is. So the joke was that he was a terrorist, in typical ron and fez fashion. That's about it.

The 1st lyrics heard in the song are 'White people are so scared of black people."

I've listened to a lot of radio -- heard a lot of talk shows in the various parts of the country that I've lived in, etc.

Without a doubt, Bennington is the sharpest radio personality I've ever heard. His reactions to things that people say (both guests and callers) are quick, hillarious and flow naturally through the show. He manages, somehow, to be funny and quick witted while rarely getting tongue tied or stepping over anyone else on the air.

He's been on fire lately, and it's been amazing radio. Everyone bitches about O&A not getting the large enough share of publicity, but Ron & Fez seriously need to get some love from XM Corporate for the work they're doing.

They had a big running gag about a bet Fez kept losing then changing the rules to and re-betting Elfish, a DC fan/show character from The Cosmic Circus, to the delight of some and horror of others. That is what the original post was probably about. Fez bet on a team, lost, and instead of paying Elfish with a trip up from DC to NYC to hang with Fez, he's sweeten the deal with a "double or nothing" kind of bet for the next playoff game to come.

There were plenty of "Angry Typing Guys" on Ronfez.net too. We all got through it.
