I see that I was unbanned and thought that now I would say bye to all the friends I made in wackbag. There was no merit to me being banned. There no offensive post that was deleted and then banned. All the posts were there. Many let me know and asked why I was banned and I had no idea. It had to be personal as there was no merit and many saw no merit in it. I was a good wackbagger.

I was among the largest contributors to the pest fund and gave generously to any fund when some other wackbagger was in need. Also while many did local sticker stops I would do one now and again coast to coast. I also had bought the wackbag shirts and wore them and explained who or what wackbag was. I was a huge booster for O and A also.

I will be giving my wackbag shirts away when I get home and the rest of the WOW stickers but will keep the WOW dogtags and just keep them in a drawer at home. Any that live in the Houston area let me know by messenger in my profile and I will be glad to give them to someone who may want them.

Now if it was a banning by merit I would understand but of course I could never find out why I was banned in the first place and no ther friend could find out. I guess from not getting an answer just means it was something personal then so.

For someone who travels a lot, and uses a bunch of different IP's - there is always a chance that one of them has been previousley banned.

Originally, it was to protect wb from getting blocked by ISPs because certain words will cause a site to become blacklisted. Eventually certain words had to be ***** for other reasons. Well sometimes lunatics like to hurt other people. Sometimes disgruntled assfucks who hate wackbaggers want to spread their filth. Sometimes animals like spreading rumors. Sometimes tools think they are still relevant.

Yes, to be banned for no reason would tick me off, but not to the point where I would give away all my O and A related stuff and post such a post.

I think the progression of this thread speaks for itself, that it was an appearant misunderstanding... after all they didn't un-ban him just so he could say good-bye.

Just wanted to chime in with my $.02. I think the people who called Lucky out on being disappointed over being banned don't understand that we take our enjoyment of Wackbag very seriously. I know if I got banned, (and believe me, I've come close a couple of times!) I'd be sorely disappointed if I felt I didn't deserve it. We treat this site like a real online community, and it sucks to be shut off from the community.

That being said, welcome back, Lucky!

I understand Lucky's feelings of dissapointment also, I'm sure he felt betrayed at having been "banned".

But it's a good time to point out there is no "They" or "Them" There's Zag and a Bunch of Mods (who's Names you all Know) that try their best to keep the board a place where we can all have a good time without having to read personal attacks and endless trolling and post whoring.

If you're unable to access the board for any reason, you can still send an E-Mail to Info<at>wackbag<dot>com and try to sort shit out. If Lucky had sent such an E-Mail, he wouldn't have had to give up the board and renounce all things O&A (Which BTW I hope he doesn't do)

Let's not make Lucky out to be an Asshole for feeling slighted over this, I know I would feel that way.

Anyway, you were un-banned. At least three mods/staff people did a real nice thing for you in this thread and admitted it was done unintentionally.
After being reinstated, you take the oppurtunity to flame the staff. You know what, if you feel this way, and you do. just go away and give your stuff away. What makes you think that starting a thread with the intention of blasting away at Wackbag would do, help others in the future? This place is extremely busy. Trolls everyday. We are a target 24-7. Probably the most reckognized message board that is around. Mistakes happen. To bad you went this route. The staffers in this thread didn't have to reply to you. They did it and I'm glad because it is a major reason that this site runs as well as it does. Follow the example and do the right thing.

Exactly. Last week when Nik posted something about lucky being banned and not knowing why, I went to go look it up so I could provide some sort of explanation. I couldn't find anything from another mod stating the reason why he was banned and I couldn't even find him in the list of banned users.

I'm not sure what happened. I couldn't find anything on the banning, so I'm going to go with the other computer savvy geeks here and say it was an IP conflict.

I've been getting some weird "your Ip is banned " message on certain threads. I PMed a staff member and was told I wasn't banned. I think that there is a weird glitch thing going on cause I am about as far from risque here as you can get.

I remember the thread lucky was banned in. We were arguing over poverty and I said something like, "careful with the bashing." It wasn't really bashing and I overreacted. (It was a good, heated argument.) The next day I check the thread for replies, lucky shows up as banned. He posted a message with a 2nd screenname, and that was banned too.

I feel very guilty about this, as it was pretty much my fault - I shouldn't have said bashing, I was being a hole - and I apologized to him for it. I'm glad lucky was reinstated, and I hope he comes back soon.

make sure that an I/P ban is only for a static I/P, not a changing
one like AOL and a few other services use. Sometimes it happens.
Most people get it resolved pretty quickly. I'm sure this was the case.

An IP would be banned because some asshole just keeps creating new screen names and won't go away. I'm sure the first step is to ban the screen-name, and then of course, if dude persists the IP is banned.

I raise you 2 cents! This is not essentially true. It means done within that medium, like on WNEW... if this were the case this message board would not exist :)

He could always comeback under a different moniker or on another messageboard... then again this isn't radio and he could come back all he wants!

I apologize for the your moms box. I am shocked that so many moderators and other friends have come in and replied.

Also I am an O and A fan and said what I wanted to wrong. The T-shirts I meant are the 2 new ones I have at home. The used one in my truck here will just go into my rarely used t-shirt drawer at home. Someone that lives near me used my yahoo ID and asked for the T-shirts and when I get home I will give them to them.

I am just tired of scrounging for WOW stickers and doing the sticker stops. I have emailed every cast member for a long time trying to get stickers to do more and even offered to pay for any and all to do so and never get a reply so I am done doing and trying to do the sticker stops for that reason. I appreciate the friend that sends me what stickers I have received and the crap load I got at the Ron and Fez meet and Greet. I was wearing the Wackbag.com t-shirt and dog tags when I announced now and again a quick sticker stop somewhere and meant to just retire doing those. I was giving away the T-shirts as it seemed that I was not wanted after the second ID I made (and it was done at a different IP) was banned quickly later and looked like an unfair banning. Maybe it was an coincidence that I hit 2 banned IP's. But I guarantee I never meant that I was no longer a fan of the boys. I meant two different things and being tired I never explained it right and apologize.

I should have never vented in a thread like I did and would appreciate if the thread goes away but I can't really post here anymore as I am incapable of watching what I say and know I am a world class Ahole and always will be. I wish I could watch and think before I post or even talk but been this way my whole life so all I can say is Fuck it. I am what I am.

And Nikswoogie don't fret. I reread the post and I did flame all Liberals. I called them Morons but it is not true. Just most Libs are morons but not all.
