ESPN.com is reporting that T.O. and Mike Shanahan had a meeting in Denver. I know there's a good amount of Broncos fans here, what do you guys think? Think it would be a good move for them? Personally, I dont see how he wouldnt help ANY team he ends up on, but for some reason, I think he's gonna try and end up with a black head coach.

Didn't they learn from the Clarett debacle? Besides, they need to worry about their QB situation before anything else.

As an Eagles fan, all I have to say as far as T.O. goes is,
good luck, bro(s).

TO won't work out in Denver, because he won't work out anywhere. His horrible attitude that he's had his whole career, combined with his agent making dumb demands, is going to make him hurt whatever team takes a chance on him. Fuck TO.

Yea... because Jake Plummer wasn't one of the best QB's in the league last year...

I still agree that they should not bother with TO.

You have a point about last year. He had a 90.2 QB rating. And in 2004 he did break the 4,000 yard mark. But here is what should concern Bronco fans: In a nine year career he has thrown 20 or more interceptions is a season five times. In technical terms that is a "shit load". He only has two more touchdowns than he does INT for his career, and he is not getting any younger. If you have a 3 and 11 there are probably a ton of other QBs you would rather have the ball in their hands than him.

He has had a couple of good seasons but a couple of good season does not make a career. It would not hurt the Broncos to start looking for a younger QB to groom while Plummer takes the team into the playoffs for the next couple of years and then blows it.

But you also have to take my comments with a grain of salt be cause I hate the Broncos and if Jesus Christ himself was their QB I would call him a cocksucker.

Hey Bronco fans, the Wisconsin media is now talking about the great possibility that Brett Farve will not retire, but is going to go to another team, just like Reggie White did. This new Green Bay front office just fucking sucks, the GM said on the news that he didn't care if Farve comes back, and sadly, thats the Packers only hope.

Since he's been on a decent team he's been good... you can't fault someone for having shit stats on The Cardinals. Just look at Thomas Jones.

One other note about the T.O. signing: whatever team gets him will probably have no problems and a great year because no one is stupid enough to sign him for more than one year. Even dumb-ass T.O. knows that if he can be a good boy for one year and perform then some other stupid team will go ahead and sign him long term. So any team that is on the thresh hold of making it to the Super Bowl or is in a "win now because next year we are going to have a salary cap dump party" can cash in on T.O. for at least one year. Jacksonville, Washington and Chicago come to mind as possible one and done homes for him.

That being said signing him to a long-term contract would end up being a fucking mess for the team that commits that blunder.

Fair enough. He has been better since he went to the Broncos.

Farve sucks. He's done. He has become another Dan Marino clone, where he would much rather chuck it downfield on a prayer than dump off to a tight end or something. He is forcing WAY too many throws, and the result was leading the league in picks with 29, while tossing only 20 TD's. He had a HORRIBLE year. Some people try to blame the injuries, but face it, he's lost some accuracy, and he doesn't make the best decisions any more.

Green Bay is making the right decision to essentially cut ties with Favre. He doesn't want to be a backup, and that's what the Packers would like him to do. He's forcing their hand.

Oh... and T.O. will NEVER fit in with Denver. They are a very professional, all business team, and T.O. is a selfish piece of shit. He needs to find another team full of douchebags, like Oakland or Dallas, and he'll be fine there.

Look at that, a Cleveland guy saying another team sucks! Atleast we don't have fans so horrible that the owner sneaks the team out of the city when no one's looking. And Farve has one thing over Marino, its called a Super Bowl win.

And for further information, Farve had zero wide recievers this year after Walker got hurt. Bubba Franks, the tight end you said he could dump it off to, missed over half the season with injuries. Green Bay went through 3 running backs this year due to serious injuries. Looks whats left, just Farve playing with hacks trying to win close games.

Favre has a ring he got 10 years ago. What has he done since? Also, I never said Green Bay sucks. In fact, I kinda like them. But facts are facts. Favre is old, and the Packers drafted Rogers to be his successor. At some point, they have to part ways with Favre and let Rogers take over, and now would be the perfect time. As I said, you can use the injury excuse to an extent, but if you have seen most of those picks he threw, they weren't even close to a receiver. He is making bad decisions, plain and simple. I know he's right next to God up there in GB, but at some point you have to let go. I had to do it with Joe Montana, Steve Young, Jerry Rice, Roger Craig, etc. from the 49ers glory days.

His bad decisions are something I noticed this year too it seemed like he went back to the young Brett Farve just trying to fling the ball anywhere rather then look for an "open receiver" (I use this term lightly as he really had no receivers) But it appears that Farve's time has passed. It is time to put the 4 into the ring of honor and let the Rodgers era begin.

As for the TO, I hope he slips down the stairs into a pool of AIDS. I hate him and just pray he doesn't end up on the giants, eventhough he would compliment alligator arms well.

Elway against T.O. joining Broncos
While Mike Shanahan continues to entertain the thought of adding wide receiver Terrell Owens to the Denver offense, the greatest Bronco of them all has spoken out against T.O.

"I think there are a lot of things about T.O. that none of us really knows, but obviously he can ruin a football team," Hall of Famer quarterback John Elway told the Denver Post on Friday evening. "If it were up to me I would say no. I think the Broncos are close enough anyway, and they don't need a guy who's too much of a risk.

"The Broncos have a great locker room right now; they have a lot of good leaders in there. To have somebody come in who's worried about himself and not worried about what the team is worried about, I wouldn't do it."

Elway is the latest among former Broncos, including Terrell Davis and Shannon Sharpe, to voice their anti-T.O. sentiment.
this man stinks as a human. I didn't like him in San Fran, loathed him in Philadelphia (along with the rest of the team & city), and I will continue to hate him no matter where he winds up. I'm still wondering if anyone will offer up a 4th or 5th rounder for him...I'm thinking no

Would any team be ballsy (read "stupid") enough to sign this 32 year old prima donna bitch to a multi-year deal?
