I was gonna sat that too. Don't see why it shouldn't, just have them credit your sears card. As far as being legal I'm sure they covered their asses with a lot of fine print.

Hey Glenn, I'm not sure about your Sears card agreement, but I have some experience as an attorney with PLCC's (Private Label Credit Cards, the department store cards), and the interest they charge is the highest in the industry. You will pay FAR more interest on a balance on one of these than you would in interest or dividends if you invest the same amount of $, so if you have the money, it makes more financial sense to pay it off rather than save/invest the same amount. Just an FYI, not legal advice.

Pay off the $280, right away. Regift the cards. You still save $400 in the end

That doesn't sound right about getting a gift card back, sears is getting their fucking money either way. I'd be pissed too.

Gift cards can't be used for bill payments. If you use them to buy
stuff and return it, they won't credit your Sears account. Their
computers know how the purchase was made. You're just stuck with
them. Either sell the cards as mikeybot sugessted or buy stuff and
then resell it.

I am honestly realy sick of the obvious legal scams pulled off by everyone from the cable and cellular companys,,, to these god awful stores.

I think how some bastard went to fcollege for 4 years to sit at a table and figure out how they can fuck people who are busy and not able to read every 4 page small print font out of their money... its just sad in this country... I would vote for a president that would have an actual service for the people protecting them from these type bs scams...Hell they probably already do... but it would be some golfer.. YAZ CANs I HEPS U.

Im sure fucking folks is big business... i know they get me with so much shit,,, because im no paper pusher and i am never ontop of this shit,,,, they definatly see me as a target class. Blue collar boob.

Tip 1, don't get a Sear's card. I know this is shitty advice and too late, but Sears blows now. I own about $5 to 10 thousand in Craftsman tools and have bitched them out about 3 times. They have changed a lot of their warranties around with no warnings. I have tried to return several tools in the last year and have been greeted with a big fuck you as they tell me to just buy another.

Just go there and spend it.
Buy $200 worth of bussiness size envelopes and $200 in little tiny ziploc bags.

While your waiting online keep asking everyone else waiting online with you if they know the address of their corprate headquarters....be very loud

You try to bring anything into Sears recently that had a lifetime warranty? I tried a while ago and they don't even support their own stuff anymore.

Most stores do this now. This prevents people from doing things they don't want you to be doing. Bestbuy does this as well. Everytime I returned something, my return was given back in a gift card when I used a gift card.

Refund is always in the form you paid.
