This year's WrestleMania will feature five main matches. These matches, according to insiders, will be: John Cena vs. Triple H, Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton, The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry, Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon, and Edge vs. Mick Foley.
The storyline between Mick Foley and Edge may be triggered by Foley mocking Edge for being a "transitional champion."
With Mysterio winning the Royal Rumble this line up could be changed, otherwise look for him to lose his title shot between now and Mania.

Undertaker Vs. Mark Henry??? who gives a shit baout that. So Im guessing Mark Henry will fuck the UNdertaker over at no way out. And this is an easy way for the Undertaker to stay undefeated at Wrestlemania. UCK, looks like I won't be ordering this hunk of dog shit.

As far as I know...alot of sites have been commenting that Rey will lose his main event slot to HHH.

I'll watch it but your right...they must change Taker vs. Awful Henry. That's a throwaway. Dont know why WWE is pushing Henry.

Im gonna say Rey vs HHH at Now Way Out for Wrestlemania Main Event. Since Raw has no PPVs until WM and they probably think no one wants to see Rey in the main event, when the truth is that no one wants to see John Cena in the Main event.
Edit: This is wrong because I just read the spoilers for smackdown and

Rey answers by accepting Orton's challenge for the match at No Way Out and we have a long distance stare down to end SD. So its Orton and Rey at No Way Out for the Main Event at Wrestlemania. I have to say if Orton wins then I will probably order Mania because I am a fan of Orton.

Orton is less ready to hold the title now than he was when he originally won it.
Orton was very not ready to hold the title when he originally won it.
I could see them changing the Michaels/McMahon match to a handicap match of Michaels vs. Vince & Shane, which may be why they brought Shane back.
Everything else looks about on par for with what I've heard. That card sucks. I may have to pass on WM this year. And what's going to happen to Mysterio, if he loses his spot to Orton?
My guess is they're going to have another Money in the Bank match with Benoit, Mysterio, maybe Booker T, Masters, RVD, and possibly Carlito...that'd kind of make sense....of course the worst worker of the bunch, Masters, would probably win it.

Except for Cena vs HHH, I'd take the rest of that card with a grain of salt at this point in time.
Also, this new HHH promo, is just plain awesome:

Yeah I wouldn't doubt Rey losing his shot to Orton.
Its a stupid angle and it doesn't help anyone in the end. Infact, it even tarnishes the two staples in the WWE main event ppvs...wrestlemania and the royal rumble.

Yeah i really hop they dont screw over Rey...it makes his rumble victory seem pointless. I'd rather see Taker vs Angle rematch in some kind of gimmick match...let Taker win the title and stay undefeated then his "last run" would at least be a championship one. Id like to see Rey jump to RAW to fight Cena...shit Rey's been on Smackdown since forever, and they need someone to compensate for the loss of Angle

Good points...I hope the Wwe takes chances and does not play it safe (like they do with Cena).

And I'm that guy who's a fan of Mark Henry, although I'd like to see them take back the Sexual Chocolate gimmick to Mark instead of (ugh) Viscera.
But since they're no monsters (Big show, Kane, even Snitsky) on Smackdown they have to bring on so he could be used as a sacrifice to keep UT undefeated in WM.

Man Edge can't get a break. First he loses the title back to Cena and then he has to fight Mick Foley. Damn Mick will please just go away already.

In a stupid-ass way I kinda like the dumb viscera gimmick, as long as he stays with backstage promos and whatnot. That thing with Shelton's mom at the ppv where he comes in and wants to tap her ass was hilarious (with the bad 70s intro and lighting).
But his ringwork is unwatchable and his moves are lame. Totally different than when he was King Mabel (and he still sucked back then, but I've heard nutty reports that he at one point was able to do a moonsault, which would be freakishly dangerous).
I feel bad for Edge on the other hand because he was a transitional champion, to help mix it up for a short time and add some dynamic elements to Cena's long and boring title run. Regardless he's going to fued with Mick Foley (which isn't too big a drop in the star ladder, at least he isn't feuding with Snitsky or Simon Dean) and has resumed his upper-mid card status.
Rumor is he's being dropped because his heel heat is threatening HHH's top heel status in the company. He's already fucking the boss's daughter and he's still afraid. Sad.

Thats because the 14 year old kids who make up the rumors HAAAAAATE HHH. People love to make it like Triple H is behind the scenes fucking everyone over because it gives them more reasons to boo him. Plus, Booking 101 is all about how HHH is an asshole apparently.

My only problem is with his opponent in the scenario above. Hopefully, this lineup isn't the real lineup (or is changed between now and then).
For what it's worth, I don't think they had Edge drop the belt so HHH could keep his heel heat going. One obvious reason is that facing Cena will result in HHH getting cheered by at least 50% of the audience in the arena anywhere in the country (except for maybe Boston, since Cena's from that area).

Warning: This report contains a possible **SPOILER** in regards to who will win the Road To WrestleMania tournament on RAW. If you do not want to know who wins, stop reading now. )
Previous reports from PWInsider indicate that it was Triple H who was behind Edge losing the title to Cena at the Royal Rumble, in order to get himself a title match with him at WrestleMania.
This means that, unless there is some type of swerve angle, Triple H will be winning the Road to WrestleMania tournament and will go on to face John Cena for the WWE title at WrestleMania.

Candice Michelle deserves a title match about as much as Elvis deserved his blackbelt. Mickie should and will be next in line, Trish has had the title too long (even with being MIA for a few months of 2005) and it's time to cough it up to the future of the women's division,.

- The Smackdown Main Event of Wrestlemania may be changed from Orton vs Angle to a 3 way match featuring Orton, Angle, and Rey Mysterio. Also there is talk Ric Flair may not even be on the show at all.

There's talk Undertaker could be added to that match making it a fatal four-way. It's all speculation. But there's no where for Rey Mysterio to go at this point unless they want to just completely bury him, and after that awesome match with Angle at No Way Out, they're going to reward the Undertaker by giving him Mark Henry? I can't see that either after Undertaker beat him on Smackdown a couple weeks ago, and then destroyed him at the end of the tag match last week.
The way to go would be:
-Cena vs. HHH (WWE Title)
-Angle vs. Orton vs. Mysterio vs. Undertaker (World Title)
-Edge vs. Mick Foley
-Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon
-Rob Van Dam vs. Shelton Benjamin (IC Title)
-Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James (Women's Title)
-Chris Benoit vs. JBL (US Title)
-Big Show & Kane vs. Carlito & Masters (Tag Titles)
-MNM vs. The Mexicools vs. London & Kendrick vs. Hardy & Tatanka (Tag Titles)
-Lashley vs. Finlay
-Booker T. vs. The Boogeyman
-Gregory Helms vs. whoever (Cruiserweight Title)
12 matches is a lot, but they did that many at WM20, and you have to figure the Lashley and Boogeyman matches won't last longer than two minutes each.
That would leave Flair off the card which is a crime. Maybe they'll add him to the IC Title match and make it a triple threat...maybe they left him off on purpose so he can finally announce his retirement at Wrestlemania. Who knows.
If the World Title match ends up a Three-Way or a Fatal-Four Way, I'd consider buying 'Mania, but if the main events are just Cena/HHH, Angle/Orton, I might pass.

I am sooooo sick of these gimick matches with Vince. It got old with Stone Cold. Why revise something that ended boring. And why bring back Foley. I like Foley but he's done. It sucks that we can determine what the card is going to look like 2 months in advance. Where are the surprises. Keep us guessing. The match with Edge and Cena at NYR I never saw coming. That was the first surprise in I don't know how long.

The following matches are set to take place at this years WrestleMania 22, that is just around the corner:
World Championship Match:
Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle (C)
(Rumor has it that there may be a possibility that it may change to a Triple Threat match involving Rey Mysterio)
WWE Championship Match:
Triple H vs. John Cena(C)
WWE Women's Title
Candice Michelle vs. Trish Stratus(C)
Mick Foley vs. Edge
(not sure if it was confirmed or not)
Undertaker vs. Mark Henry
(not confirmed, but highly rumored according to reports)
The card seems to be staying the same...I just can't stand Mark Henry.

I think you can add in Vince and/or Shane vs. Shawn Michaels and Money in the Bank '06. I'm not sure who will be in the match this time around though. Jericho and Christian are gone. Edge and Benjamin will probably be wrestling other matches and Benoit is now on Smackdown.

HHH/Cena and Foley/Edge are the only ones set in stone right now. The Angle/Orton match could, and probably will be at least a three-way or four-way, and Candice Michelle is wrestling Trish for the title next week on RAW, not at 'Mania although she could very well end up doing it anyway.

There's a video on WWE.com of JBL talking about Benoit trying to end his career by breaking his hand (Benoit really does break JBL's hand on Smackdown this week).
It looks like we may be able to add Benoit vs. JBL for the U.S. title to the card.

Oh, by the way, Kudos to whoever brought that MONSTER RAIN sign to RAW this week.
HHH was always going to grab the belt back-he doesn't understand that he doesn't need it. He jsut wants to break Flairs record and be 'the man'.
He did the right thing by keeping away from the belt for a while, but its bound to be more HHHOverload coming soon.

I agree...usually WWE ends Wrestlemania with a title change and with a face winning. I think this match goes on last, Rey pins Orton...gets the short title reign until the next Smackdown PPV where they do a triple threat re-match and Orton will pin Rey to win the title. That's the right way to do it. It also doesn't damage Angle since he doesn't take the pinfall in either match.
Then get ready for Batista vs. Orton at least until Summerslam. :icon_eek:

HOgan vs. Stone Cold at Wrestleman?!!!?
After a few episodes when RAW made its switch back to the USA network, Hulk Hogan made a challenge to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a match that would take place at this year's WrestleMania 22.
Following that challenge made by Hogan, we have yet to hear Austin's answer to the match until now. Recently on Steve Austin's official website he made his responce. You can read what the rattle snake has to say about Hulk Hogan and his match at WrestleMania 22.
