I was on my way to work, and on the way, i took my attention off the road to futz with my XM. Long story short, I pop the curb, stop, and my tire is completely flat with two holes in it.

I suck.

Under further review, the rim is kind of fucked up, but hopefully fixable. I fucked up the CV joint or something.

Once again, I suck.

From now on, I won't do that again.

By the way, I hit a storm drain.

The problem is, some of these tires are fucking expensive, I have pirelli's and they are $150.00 each.

If it is a steel wheel, take a hammer and bang the dent out, take it off the car first.

If it is aluminum, you can bang it out to a point, but excessive movement will crack it.

the FU shouldn't be to you MR, it should be to the storm drain. Do we really need them anyway? I mean they didn't help much when katrina hit...they had storm drains in LA right???? Pointless!

If you think that they are pointless, go to Las Vegas when it rains. They don't have storm drains in Vegas (or if they do, they have very few). Within about a half hour of the start of rain, there are HUGE puddles in the street.
