Starting on Raw this Monday they are starting a Tournament to see who will face Cena at WM. We all know who will win it but here is the tree:
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/touts/feature/29062/2081418
RVD Vs Carlito should be fun to watch, I think Carlito will wind up pulling it out by cheating and Kane will lose so you wind up with Carltio Vs Masters. Then HHH beats Flair and HBK gets screwed over by Vince. Then it HHH Vs. Show and Masters Vs Carlito. HHH Vs Carlito and then HHH wins and goes to WM to win his title back.

I haven't watched Raw yet but does that mean that Edge lost the title to Cena, or is it just a prediction that he will before WM?

Yeah he lost it at the Royal Rumble and then rematched the night after after Cena got DQed when Lita hit Edge with the belt.

Don't get me wrong I would LOVE to see RVD win this tournament and go to WM. I would order WM that day. I just know its not gonna happen. We all know who is winning. The bad thing is -- HHH is not the problem, its the bullshit champion.

RVD is going to make it to the finals so HHH can bury him on his way to the title. Come on, who else in that bracket would really be an interesting opponent for HHH in the finals?

Is there a point to even having this tournament? Just announce that Triple H will face Cena at Mania already.

RVD would be the nicest, but I think you'll see Carlito go over him and maybe RVD comes to to screw him over in the finals against HHH. Which is kind of strange...a face screwing over a heel in a heel vs. heel match, but it makes the RVD/Carlito feud more legit.
Maybe RVD and Flair both lose in the first round. The next week on Raw you see RVD vs. Flair for the IC belt....who knows

I dunno how an RVD vs. HHH match would go, seeing as HHH has been a prick about who does what in most people's matches. He's been continuously asking management for years to have the talent spend more time in "rest holds" and focus on slower ring psychology, probably due to his own limitations ever since he's been pumping himself with human growth hormone.
I'd say i'd be slow and boring, with a weird finish to help put HHH over as a heel (like he needs it in the first place), and RVD gets squashed for the most part.
Well, this looks like a pretty simple formula:
RVD beats Carlito
Kane beats Masters
HHH beats Flair
Big Show beats HBK
RVD beats Kane
HHH beats Big Show
HHH beats RVD

Now, that said.....
RVD won't beat Carlito. Because Carlito and Masters have heat together. It will be Carlito vs Masters. Then Masters beating Carlito, making it HHH vs Masters.
EVen more reasons to not watch this shit anymore.

I don't know, by them having Rey win the rumble might finally show that Vince is ready for some suprises?
HHH is going to be in the main event, yes, but there are more then one way to get there, as we all know. An RVD win, would get a new face to the event, but a fatal 4 way is always possiable. We have had a triple threat main event WM, but not a 4 way yet. HHH can get in there that way. HBK is going to face vince, and carlito will face masters at WM. I would LOVE to see flair drop the belt to someone, and be the 4th.
MY MAN NEEDS ONE MORE RUN AT THE BELT!!!

We have had a triple threat main event WM, but not a 4 way yet.Back in 2000 they had a great idea...Big Show (w/ Shane McMahon) vs. Mick Foley (w/ Linda McMahon) vs. Triple H (w/ Stephanie McMahon) vs. The Rock (w/ Vince McMahon). What an awful way to have Mick Foley's first last match. But you're right, a Fatal 4 Way would be pretty nice...it's been 6 years, so they definately could re-hash it that way. I still think that Edge should get in there some way, but "people are saying" that it will be Edge vs. Mick Foley at Wrestlemania
I sware I wish I could watch TNA. But that 6 sided ring pisses me off.Yeah, that kind of pisses me off too. I was flipping through the channels the other night and my Mom walked by, even she asked me what the hell was up with that ring "It looks so small!"

I got a question? What's the story behind Vince screwing HBK? And as a big Triple HHH fan, I don't mind him being in the main event in Wrestlemania. Because if you think about, he hasn't been in that many main events at Mania.

The way I see it is that Masters costs Carlito his match and vice-versa leading to RVD & Kane advancing and those two going after each other. But I could be wrong.

Vince did a bit where he reviewed Bret Hart's new DVD at the end of a RAW a couple months ago and he went on the typical "Bret screwed Bret" tangent and rehashed all that stuff, so Shawn Michaels came out and told him that enough is enough and that it was eight years ago and he needs to let it go. Vince didn't take to kindly to that and he's been out to get HBK since.
Although the story's taken a turn where it's less about that and now more about Vince playing the role of Satan and trying to get HBK to forsake his new Christian values and go back to the "pill-popping, son of a bitch, Shawn Michaels"

I think it would be alot cooler if they could do this tourny at WM just like WMIV. Give some excitement to thier big event

I'd like to see it again one year too, but it is a big risk to do it at a Wrestlemania, because one night tournaments are usually so hit or miss, which I'm guessing is part of the reason they stopped doing King of the Ring (which was a bad decision by the way).
I watched the one at WMIV recently as part of the anthology and it's bad. There's really no good matches in it, and it takes way too long, and even though Savage wins the title which is a great story, Hogan of course steals the spotlight anyway
But on the other hand, I think the one they did at Survivor Series 1998 for the WWF Title, if I remember it correctly, (i haven't seen it since it originally aired) was very well done and worked out great.

yeah, I'd love to see a ressurection of King of the Ring or another WM IV style tourney. Christ...the first time I heard that they were going to do a "Best of 5" between Cena and Booker T, I was expecting 3 of 5 that one night, not a 5 week fuck-fest.
I could see Masters causing Carlito his match, but we all know that it's going to be HHH vs. someone...the only question is who?

It's shit like this that makes me happy I have to get to sleep early during the week. Whoever faces HHH will get buried, he'll go on to wrestlemania and every single cliche that's been thrown around here so far will happen, unless carlito legitimately loses and then screws Masters setting up their Mania match (and maybe a Carlito face turn?)
The only reason I can't watch TNA (aside from being late) is that it feels too much like WCW. The whole arena setup, the bad video quality, it feels like they went to a flea market and said "We'll buy ALL WCW's production goodies." Blegh.

I still say RVD is the only one who makes any sense. There's no Raw PPV this month, so as usual they are probably going to build to a big live show on one Monday that has a couple of PPV caliber matches. Based on the brackets, HHH's opponents could be Kane, RVD, Carlito and Masters.
I think you almost have to automatically take Carlito and Masters out because they are both heels which causes problems and neither are big enough right now for a match with HHH to seem like anything special. Kane fought HHH a couple of weeks ago and the match wasn't all that good. RVD is just coming back and getting the big crowd reactions, him vs. HHH is a fresh matchup that most people would want to check out. It sucks that RVD has no chance of winning but I just can't see them going any other way.

The only thing I would disagree with putting HHH and RVD in together (aside from what was mentioned before about rest holds and slower matches) is that while I give RVD all the respect in the world, his match against Snitsky to open up RAW was pretty lame. Yes, Snitsky's about as tittlating as a bee sting on the sack but even still RVD wasn't anywhere near in prime form, plenty of ring rust. I think as far as putting on an entertaining match, it would be RVD IF he gets himself up to par in the coming weeks or put Carlito in there while teasing either a face turn or a fan favorite heel type deal.

what happend to the days of a champion holding the belt for a couple of years. we need a true champion. i'd like to see RVD get the push he deserves. if vince was smart he should. ECW still very popular and a money maker for vince. vince put the belt around mr. ppv and mr. monday night RVD cause he is the whole eff'n show.

RVD is going to be pushed, and eventually I think we will see him in a program with Shelton Benjamin, after Benjamin is done with Flair and has the IC belt back.
I don't think they'll ever give him the World title though. Regretably.

The poll on WWE.com has who do you think will win the tourney. and 50% say RVD and its like 23% for HHH. You think WWE would see that and go this is what the fans want.
