Her's a big Fuck You to GLD Products. One of my Christmas gifts was a dartboard that they make, and the fucking thing came without any mounting hardware, even though the box clearly states that the hardware is included. So, I tried to exchange it at the store where it was purchased, but they didn't have any of that brand left and the only dartboards they did have that weren't all obviusly opened already were those shitty electronic ddartboards that don't even use real darts so nobody gets hurt using them. So, I went with option #2 and called the 800-number on the box, politely explained that there was no hardware and that I couldn't exchange it, and asked them to send me the hardware in the mail. The customer service rep said that she'd have the hardware sent out the next day.
2 1/2 weeks later, there was still no hardware sent, so I called again. I explained again that I needed the hardware sent to me (and by this point, it was too late to try again to exchange it at the store, since is was well over a month since it was purchased). What's the retard on the other end of the line do? She e-mailed me the mounting instructions! That would be nice if she'd sent me the hardware, too. As it was, all I could do was look at the instructions and say to myself, "Boy that would be really easy to do if I had the hardware I need."
So, I called them a 3rd time and was transferred to someone's voicemail. I left a message explaining the situation politely for the third time (and made sure to mention that this was my 3rd attempt to get this sent to me). The next day, I got a call back from this woman saying that she knew what hardware I needed, and that she'd send it out Monday (it was a Friday night when she called).
It's been over a week since that last conversation, and I still haven't received the fucking hardware. All I have is a fucking useless dartboard just sitting on the floor of my apartment. It shouldn't be this fucking hard to send a mounting bracket and some screws in the mail. It's been a month since I made the first call to those assholes. If there was a delay in sending it for some reason, then the twat I spoke with should have called to let me know.
I hope they all die in a bus accident.
