Today I received a message from a girl saying she was sending it for her girlfirend because her friend was too shy to contact me. She said her friend said that I looked like someone she was in love with before he died. She gives me a link, which would automatically add her to my friends list.

Here's that message:

my best girlfriend asked me to talk to you for her.
yea this girl who has been my best friend since ive been young hits me up. She says she sees this profile of someone that reminds her of her first crush. I dunno Im not the one who should be filling you in Ill let her.

I will let you know that she is cool as hell and gets pretty crazy at times in a fun way. to be honest i used to have a crush on her myself but its too weird now. she said she was shy or something to be the first one to initiate talk but she even posted a blog about ya or something

anyways seems like you are all she is talking about and interested in so check her out and add her up as a friend. something might work out who knows yea.

I send her a reply, saying that I'd like to see her myspace page before adding her, because it sounds pretty strange.

I get no reply, so I add the girl to my friends, and then hours later I get
a message from "Emily". This girl wants to get to know me, and that cannot happen. I'm 41, married, Emily is 19 and while she might be a "goer", I'm not in any position financially or morally to wreck my life for a teenager in Las Vegas.

Here's her blog:

I might have found someone that interests me

I was browsing myspace and I ran into someone that reminded me of my first crush. I read their profile and it made me nervous because the person that I once fell for passed away when we started getting serious. I think it might be fate for me to get to know them. I am shy and I don't know where I should take this. I hope that they are reading this. I am a special girl who is looking for a special person and I hope that myspace is it.I have always been a little wild and I hope it doesn't offend the others. Oh well enough of me rambling. I'll think about what Im going to do next.

Here's her message to me later on...
From: Emily
Date: Feb 4, 2006 2:06 PM

Okay so here we go. It's me,the one who wanted to meet you. Your profile really fascinated me. I am a shy girl and really have a hard time meeting people that I am truely interested in.

I wanted to be as clear as possible with you because I have faith that there could be a future with us. I wrote up my webpage explaining who I am, what I do as to why I am shy, and what i want to happen. Once you read it and truely understand get back to me.

I hope this works. I have faith
My personal letter to you

Best,
Yours Truely

My reply to her:

To the person who think's I'm someone they want to get to know.

As you can see from my profile, my name is Jeff.
I'm 41 years of age, and happily married.

This is my 2nd marriage, from my first marriage I have a daughter that is in your age bracket.

It doesn't matter to me whether you are shy or the most outgoing person on the planet, NOTHING is going to happen in regards to you and I. Not trying to be harsh, it's just the way things are and will be.

I'm MARRIED. Taken, no longer a free agent, I'm not a
player and I've left the field a LONG time ago.

Just because I look like someone you once knew does not mean I'm that person or anything like that person.

I'm sorry, but you don't know me, I don't know you and that's the way life for me is.

Sorry, myspace is not a cure all for your personal life.

Jeff

I'm very sad, myspace wasn't around when I was 19 and I missed the
window of opportunity on this one. :icon_sad: "Emily" wasn't around either when I was 19, she probably wasn't even an itch in her daddy's pants at that time either.

Apparently SPELLING is not a requirement on myspace. What a stupid fucking site that is.

the fella probably makes myspaces for each victim he kills, and thus just uses each one in sequence.

Yep, sure did.

Myspace is getting a bad reputation lately in the press by shit that's
happening there.

Currently there's a NASCAR marketing rep that's being accused of ******
some chicks underage girls he hooked up with in cities he was in relating
to his job.

Yeah, I get a few here and there, it is all marketing or what not...I simply don't reply unless they have a mention of O&A in their homepage, or are someone i know...There are just as many scammers in myspace as everywhere else...

GonzoRadio
02-06-2006, 06:20 AM
I'm not on myspace, but if I was, I would only reply to posts that had "O&A party rock", "Ol' Hangar Head", or my personal favorite, "The Ol' Whoopsy Daisy."

Anything else can go fuck off.

This is marketing in action. Notice how her blog is very generic? You were one of 5000 people she probably sent that to.

Once she gets you hooked, it's on to her pay-per-minute camgirl site.

heh, FBG's got this one figured out. He's a regular Perry Mason. :action-sm

I got the exact sme message too. Look at the girl. She's a camgirl and she wants you to sign up for her service. There's the hook.

I can't believe people actually fall for these things.

The one thing I like about getting those kinds of messages, is I get to respond with "Beat it, whore". Just kind of brightens my day a little.

I can't believe people actually fall for these things.

I just recently signed up for myspace since Anthony and Norton's
competitive myspace bit. I had 1 friend, Anthony. I posted my
myspace link on wackbag a week ago and started adding baggers that
sent me requests.

It's not about "falling" for anything, I posted to find out what other people
think about this crap. It raised questions with me because WHY IN THE FUCK would some 19 year old bimbo be sending me messages about wanting to get to know me?

I could have just deleted the emails but I wanted to see where she was going with her bit, it's not going anywhere. After my email to her I think she get's the message. Whatever her deal is I'm not down with it.

I got one of these a few weeks ago. The chick said she wanted to hang out or something. I recognized her pic. It was a porn chick from the sites I visit sometimes.
(Cherry Potter, in case anyone wants to check her out. She is hot.)

I called her on it and she hasn't messaged me since.

did you watch the dateline predator episode?

I watched it, it was fucking gross, so many guys showed up to that house. There was even one guy who saw someone being arrested in the front of the house and still decided to come back and try to meet up with that "13 yr old girl". What a fucking sick bastard! That show got me so sick to my stomach!

It's a scam. Usually they have a link to a pay cam site in their profile, or their profile is brand new with one friend (Tom) and their is only one pic in it. Ignore these messages, or reply with something like "Beat it, whore". I've even gotten one from a girl that said she had a job in South Africa, but got fired and needed money for a plane ticket.
